Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Considering that the acai bowls here are $13+, I would expect them to be made fresh. Today I was given a Bahama Mama bowl that looks like it had been sitting in a freezer overnight. The acai part was completely frozen solid, and the fruit, especially the pineapple, was gummy as if it had been sitting for a long time. I don't know if I'll ever be going back since it was so awful for such an expensive price. I would have asked for a refund if I had realized before I left. I'll be trying superfoods cafe and market on Main Street in mt airy next time.

The food and smoothies are Good but it would be great if the staff wore hair nets. They all tend to have long hair, and while it's pulled back it does not keep hair from getting in to food.

The food here is great! Attitudes from staff, and music is raunchy, annoying, and inappropriate.

Kinda disappointed, I usually order an açaí bowl every single day on DoorDash and today was by far the worst. I just get an açaí bowl no chia seeds no coconut add extra granola and today they sent me 3 and a half slices of banana, 8 blueberries and one singular strawberry. I look forward to my açaí bowl every day considering I pay $16 for it a day but today sucked. Some days they do an amazing job but today sucked really bad I guess because I ordered an hour before closing?

I’m a bit disappointed but I do love tropical smoothie.They never let me down but today they did.I wish they would have blended it more. I like to drink my smoothie not eat it in chunks ?Again, I STILL LOVE TROPICAL SMOOTHIE. The morning shift is always the best, afternoon gotta do better.

Disappointing first experience. Ordered a large order for an office lunch. I selected the Thai Chicken Salad, and the chicken was hard as a rock and overcooked to the point it felt reheated multiple times. The dressing was tasty, but only a teeny tiny amount was offered, literally like a TBSP for a whole meal sized salad. The lettuce was fresh, at least. Kinda bummed.

I too frequent businesses where they only offer certain services online and then throw a huge fit when they don’t abide by their posted rules and regulations! 10/10 for the “Karen.” I’m here almost every other day and have never had a bad experience with these “young kids.”Edit: I guess I lied on my first review, I’m definitely here daily. Always amazing service!

The manager Pam offered the best costumer service. Pam made me the most delicious smoothie I have ever had.(Chocolate Covered Strawberry) not only was she kind to the employees but also to the costumers. When I walked in after having a bad dad she told me things will get better, and they did after I had one of her smoothies. Pam makes tropical more than a smoothie place. Pam makes tropical a loving home for costumers to enjoy her lovely smoothies.

Pam was very rude and would not make my drink - said that it is only available online. After we had to listen to her rude mouth, another employee said that he would make it. This is the worse excuse for customer service that I have ever experienced. Pam needs some additional training in how to treat customers.

They have kids working there that half the time don't make the sandwich you ordered. Whoever goes there, do yourself a favor and check your food before you leave

I went today for the first time with both kids solo and the customer service was amazing. The kids loved it, we got sandwiches and smoothies and it was delicious. Highly recommend. It will be one of our new favorites.

I'm so glad they opened a location here! Delicious smoothies and interesting food menu. Decent prices when combining a smoothie and food, especially since it's almost inevitable there will be some leftovers!

We love Tropical Smoothie Cafe! The smoothies hit the spot every time, and there are many possible add-ins. The sandwiches are delicious, and they have a really nice kids menu. They are a bit on the pricey side, so they're a treat.
