I had their 2021 Cabernet Franc wine. It was at an event in a plastic cup but still was amazing!

We tried the 2020 & 2021 Cab Franc and Albariño at Summers Farm and loved all three! It is always exciting to find a new local place to love and I can’t wait to visit in person soon.

I’ve tried Six Wicket Vineyards’s wines for the first time at the Summer farm in Frederick County. I’m a wine lover and grew up in a small city in South America where we learned the art of high altitude viniculture. Ed has wonderful products and I can say with confidence that Six Wicket Vineyards won’t disappoint you. I promise Ed I’ll visit his Vineyard very soon. 100% recommend it.

Excellent Albariño wine. Was lucky enough to try it at Summers Farm. Kathy was so friendly and sweet. She said the vineyard is family friendly and I plan on going soon.

We had an amazing experience here. What a beautiful site! It's by appointment only for tasting, so call first if you plan to go. Kathy O'Laughlin (co-owner with husband, Edward O'Laughlin) was a FABULOUS host. She gave us a delightful tour of the vineyard on a golf cart, letting us taste some of the ripening Albariño grapes even. The wines available for tasting were the Albariño, Rosé of Cab Franc, and 2 Cab Francs: 1 aged in American Oak and the other in Slovenian Oak. All of the wines were excellent, but the Cab Franc in the Slovenian Oak was the real star. We will definitely be back.
