Snowballs were very tasty! Lots of flavors and fun toppings. Lots of outdoor games and space to sit and relax. Very nice little family spot!

A friend and I went and got 7 snowballs we did not know how we were going to get them back to frederick without a mess.they put them in insulated cups and gave us a box to carry them. They went above and beyond and it worked no melting we all enjoyed our snowballs.thank you so much you guys are awesome.

Visiting The Bog Shack Snowcone Stand in Myersville, MD, was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the incredible family-friendly atmosphere. Joe, one of the owners, warmly introduced himself and shared the inspiring story of how the stand came to be. The amenities were outstanding, including a spacious pavilion, volleyball net, wiffle ball area, frisbee golf, a rope swing, water balloon launchers, and even trails leading to a cave and a treehouse overlooking waterfalls.

The snow cones were absolutely incredible, bursting with flavor and made with obvious care. They also offered delicious popcorn and farm-fresh eggs, making it a unique treat for everyone. The prices were very affordable, which was a pleasant surprise given the extensive offerings.

We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful details like the big covered pavilion, perfect for enjoying a snack in the shade, and the variety of activities available to keep kids entertained for hours. The pond and trails added a touch of adventure to our visit, making it more than just a quick stop for a treat.

Overall, The Bog Shack Snowcone Stand provided a delightful and memorable outing for our family, and we can't wait to return soon! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun, affordable, and family-oriented spot.

First time there today and we loved it!! Surrounded by nature, awesome customer service, family oriented, and best snowball I've ever had!! I also was encouraged to try their iced coffee (will return for that for sure). Also, great prices!!! We'll be back soon!

Great location to bring your children to eat popcorn and have shaved ice cream and plenty of games for them to play. Also, shaved ice cream was delicious and they have plenty of favorites for you to choose from. We got blue raspberry and cherry strawberry both were AWESOME. The owners are nice people and the teen workers are as well. If we could give them more stars we would !!!

Awesome local place run by a great couple. VERY family-friendly.
There are lots for kids to do and a nice place for parents to hang out. I'm not sure if they do birthday parties, but you could have a stellar time if they did.
Trails to hike games for the family and little kid play houses.
Bathrooms are even nice.

We heard about the Big Shack from the Frederick Fatty. It turns out he was right. Great hidden gem for sure! Yard Games, Open and Covered seating, Lots of trails to explore, Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend!

This place is so unique. Very fun family experience. The owners were so kind to us and went above and beyond to show my kids a great time. They even let them pick raspberries! Super fun place to take the kids, highly recommend!!

Fun setup. Lots of games and activities along with a good shaved ice. My kids love going for the games and snow balls.

Wonderful spot near Middletown and Meyersville. They sell snow cones with about 20 different flavors and have a small lake, and a nice patio area where you can sit and relax. There are several things you can do as a family or with friends like play badminton, get on a swing, play a game of cornhole hole walk around the trail or just talk to the owner Joe about how he built the place. Love this little hidden gem.

Incredible place to grab a cold frozen treat! The property is beautiful and peaceful. If you have kids they will love all of the things to do around the property. The snowballs are great, took me right back to my childhood in Baltimore. Pricing is friendly and you get a lot (I recommend sticking with a small, it’s plenty). A must visit, off the beaten path, hidden gem!

I went to a granddaughters birthday party ? and just the scenery alone is gorgeous ?. If you like a variety of snow cones this the place. Little out of the way, but well worth it.
