Horrible service, multiple times have had a bad experience, especially with a guy called Albert or alberto? From me phoning in an order and when I got there he forgot to place it . To denying an order 30 minutes before closing . To hair being in food and pupusas being soggy . Horrible customer service and representation to El Salvador, it’s food and culture.

Once you try their Pupusas con curtido, you will hooked! Literally like nothing else around, not greasy at all and they have a lot of meat, cheese and frijoles! Other Pupusas that I have tried have messed with my stomach but NOT La Familiar. Also, la sopa de Mondongo is to die for! With 4 tortillas i ya!

Very bad costumer service I wanted to place a large order through phone and the lady who was taking my order was very unprofessional and did not want to take my order since it was a big order and decided to hang up the phone. I decided to come to the restaurant and when I complained about the lady they totally ignored me and did not want to take my order.

The pupusas are mixed with queso seco and its disgusting. The steak burrito only had 4 pieces of steak, loaded with lettuce, accompanied by more lettuce. Servers really didnt care about the customer, they are just ready to go home. Thanks for the experience, wont be coming back

Great food but the chicken sandwich is really weird and has way too much going on and the quesadillas really good I wish they had more guacamole on the quesadilla

I’ve been here twice after they closed down La Familiar in College park. The first time around it was okay, there was a waitress that would ask how everything was and run away before I even say anything but not bad over all. However the second time back, the service was extremely slow and it wasn’t even busy, I had 4 different people “served” me. Every time someone would come up the table it was someone different. They did forget my food and judging by the other reviews this is something that happens very often in there. After I finally got my food no one came back to ask me how it was. Needles to say the food was dry, the steak was hard and chewy. Won’t be back, I miss La Familiar in College park, the food was always the best there and quick service.
