Walking in the door, we were greeted by an incredible staff at check-in a African-American gentleman with absolutely outstanding showed us to our table. We asked for a booth. He said no problem during the meal, which was excellent. He checked in on us. Our waiter was very nice and polite. Highly recommend this place.
Our server was very friendly and attentive. The entrees we ordered (rainbow trout and scallops) were well prepared, but nothing special. The lobster bisque is usually something I would look forward to; this visit it was watery and flavorless. Our main entrees arrived and the bisque had not been served so I asked about it; our server indicated that it was not the right texture so the kitchen was trying to remedy that. When it did arrive it was watery and I chose not to eat it;...
I got the grilled pork chop which was very good. I wasn't crazy about the cabbage dish which was the side. I grew up having mashed potatoes as part of the meal with pork chops. I should have asked to switch the side dish to mashed or whipped potatoes, but I didn't think about it. The fault lies with me. Lesson learned for next time. Although I didn't get it, I was happy to hear Seasons 52 had a non-alcoholic wine. My waiter was very good and attentive.
