Potatoes were dry DRY, Catfish fried was hot but the Fried crispy crust didn’t stick to the fish fell off the fish, so I haven’t gone back, they give you plenty of food. They are not FRIENDLY NO SMILES

As of 8/16/2025 the food to me is no longer how it was when it originally opened. They changed owner ship and the original folks that owned it no longer do. Food has little to no seasoning. Will not be returning. Very displeased.

Ordered from here because Carolina Kitchen doesn’t open on Sunday. I just kept laughing because I have NEVER in my life encountered bad SOUL FOOD until now. The yams had cinnamon and slimy stuff I have no idea what it was on top of the yams not being cooked throughly the Mac and cheese was no seasoning and it had so much grease it came through the bag. The cornbread was bland and it had no seasoning soul food is supposed to be full of seasoning. The carry chicken was okay but I will never get SOUL FOOD here again. Anyone who has had REAL SOUL FOOD know this is not it. Anybody that say this food is good is high as a kite especially if you know how good and addictive soul food is. This is not it!!!

Got salmon cake breakfast. Salmon cake needs some help. Mostly bread. Couldn't even taste the salmon. Had no flavor at all. Bread cake.

This was the worst food ever . Please be careful the food had a nasty taste like it was sitting out old. Then they gave some eggs I don’t eat as I don’t even want on my plate I asked for adjustments and did not get it. Quality is horrible will not eat there again

I don’t know how they call them selves soul food with no soul food was bland no flavor at all chicken was super greasy they should be ashamed of themselves tastes like the other people cooked this nasty food never again

These beans are so nasty I ask for baked beans they gave me blacked eyes peas and meant is so bland this is the worst experience I ever encounter don't go to this place then they ruined my wife food
