Food was excellent- but we waited 35 minutes for our appetizer (charcuterie board) and another 30 minutes after that for our meal. Our server was amazing and apologetic, and it was Christmas Day - but apparently there were only two cooks- so the wait was terrible.
Not enough staff. Waitress told us a sob story about she was only one working. Didn't ask if we wanted any drinks. Was rushing us. Only about 8 people in the restaurant. Also, didn't find our reservation but then said we don't really have anyone here. Was a total mess. So we under ordered and paid our tab and left. Went to another restaurant and had great service and good attentiveness. Considered doing room service for other meals prior to this experience but was...
We come to the Hilton every year for Thanksgiving. This year I have to say the food was even better. It's good every year, but it was really hot and the buffet always had fresh food. The staff is always quick and attentive to your needs. The only sad thing was since 2017 when we've been here they've always had their holiday decorations out which give it a festive feel and they didn't do that this year.
