Drinks are a different price depending on the bartender and they donât honor the drink special pricing. Was there during an Oâs game so Surfsides should have been $4 but we paid our bill the bartender argued and blamed the computer and wouldnât change the price. Less tip and no return. Was there a few times this summer with pricing issues but this was the last straw.
Group of 5 get there at 7:05pm on today 9/1/24 they report their closing time is 9pm. Go to the bar, bartender ( nice as ever) gives us the menus. Weâre sit down at a table. A minute later, the owner(who did not announce himself as such; i eventually realized he had on a company shirt but i was told by an employee that he was the owner) comes over to the table * drunk * and snatches the food menu away saying â the kitchen is closedâ (forcefully) with no explanation but tells us the kitchen is closed but we can drink all we want.. and proceeds to walk awayâŚthatâs it.. that was the experience. The bartender did apologize for the situation and the DJ (who is not an employee) also apologized on behalf of the establishment. I donât want to assume why we specifically were handled in that manner BUT definitely doesnât make me want to give it another chance.
HORRIBLE!!! We were there about 15 or 20 minutes. We were the only table. We were never approached by the server. She never asked what drinks we wanted. We were told the place is open. The kitchen is open even though it looked deserted!! DON'T EVER BOTHER TRYING IT!!!! A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!!

Just sat around pool area for a short visit. The atmosphere was nice, pool was very clean, as was the area around it (tables, dining area outside).

We had an amazing time staying! The Shaka pool bar was Fantastic. The entire staff was very friendly!! Our entire family had a blast! Canât wait to come back!!! Theyâve worked wonders with the place!!!
Perhaps the worst music groups in all of Ocean City and West Ocean City! Donât waste your time and money. Go somewhere else!

Nasty food, gross tables. Food looks reheated and the marg pizza was SO sweet. Also the pool is advertised much larger? Definitely a place for parents with loud kids thats all.

This was our first time at Shaka and Iâm so upset with myself that it has taken us this long. The food, drinks and atmosphere was amazing. The pool was very clean and the perfect size. I would recommend you stop in at this little gem. We will be back!
