“We dined at One Coastal over the weekend. We had four people in our party and everyone ordered a different item on the menu. Food was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple pasta dish that was the most delish meal I’ve had in years. I shared with everyone at the table and everyone loved it. My husband had the pork chop and reported that it was delicious. My daughter had the scallops and said they were perfect. Her boyfriend had the flank steak and it looked terrific. But my pasta was PERFECTION!“

“we were in town for a music festival and decided to try happy jack. the food was delicious and the service fantastic. even the kids enjoyed it and my kids are picky they asked if we could go to happy jack every time we are in town. we we again the next day and the server remembered us. remembered what we orded and the kids names. Jenny L made the girls day by remembering them and the color straws they wanted. reminded us of our favorite breakfast place at home. delicious food amazing service and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back next time we are in town“

Three server (sorry I don't remember her name) was very friendly, thoroughly knew the menu and made excellent recommendations. We also went on a day when there was a good discount on the meal. “The Station is absolutely beautiful — the entire place is decorated so well, and I loved all the little details. Unfortunately, the food was just okay, which was a bit of a bummer. I ordered their brunch special, a grilled cheese with tomato soup. The soup seemed microwaved, as it was very hot on top but cold on the bottom. For $16, that was disappointing.

Our bartender was also our server and seemed distracted and not very attentive. The service overall wasn’t great. However, the front manager was amazing. He could tell something was off with my dish, corrected it immediately, and took it off the bill. I truly hope the owners never lose him as an employee — he’s amazing and made a real difference in our experience.

I understand the restaurant is under new ownership and has only been open a short time. With such a beautiful space and a great front manager, I’m optimistic about its potential and would be happy to give it another try soon.“

The manager for the evening came around when our waiter informed him that someone in our party had a gluten intolerance. The manager came over and was so friendly, and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and exactly which items and sauces contained gluten and which did not. For someone to take this extra time and attention for something that at other restaurants is commonly overlooked meant so much to us, we wanted to be sure to recognize and give credit where credit was due.
