“If you ever find yourself at Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), do yourself a favor and stop by Gachi Sushi across from Gate A9. I ordered the Triple Delight Roll, and it was incredible. It was beautifully presented, fresh, and packed with flavor. The avocado and spicy drizzle were perfectly balanced, and the textures were spot on. Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, even in the middle of the busy terminal. Special shoutout to Budi, the general manager who’s been there for 14 years! His pride in the food and service truly shows. I’ll definitely be back. Whether you’re craving sushi before a flight or just looking for a great airport dining experience, Gachi Sushi is a must-try. Highly recommended! 🍣✈️“

“I have always liked this restaurant very much. I often come here to eat. The special price for lunch here is very favorable. The food is very large and delicious. Recently, the environment of the restaurant has changed a lot. A lot of beautiful decorations have been added. The service is still as good as ever. Give me a good dining experience. “They only get a 4 stars because of the bathrooms being out of order and open - it was a little weird! Buuuuuuut the restaurant itself was wonderful. The food was good, the drinks were strong, the place was clean, the environment was friendly, and Chole gives amazing service and a strong drink lol.
Now let's address the other reviews, my first impression of this place 2 years ago was not that great, but giving them another shot was worth it and I sat at the bar solo without my newborn and my former lmao. (We still love that person) And now I love this place lol - I will be returning.

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Teriyaki & Sushi Japanese Grill in Laurel, MD, and it was a fantastic experience. The menu offers a diverse selection of fresh sushi rolls, flavorful teriyaki dishes, and hearty ramen bowls, all beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced.
The service was prompt and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has a clean, inviting atmosphere, perfect for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners. Ordering online through Uber Eats, Grubhub, or DoorDash is also convenient for takeout.
Overall, Teriyaki & Sushi Japanese Grill is a great spot for delicious Japanese cuisine with excellent service. Highly recommended!“

“The whole setting is a Vibe!!!The lighting and the mood is very comfortable. Servers are super friendly ,courteous and attentive.They recommended some things off the menu that were very tasty. The drinks are not water down and very ,very good.Happy Hour is Fire and they have them at different times. The food is well prepared to perfection I had a meduim rare steak and it was outstanding. The Maryland Crab soup is top notch!!!The grilled Asparagus was nicely done.The fried rice was very good.The presentation of the whole meal was exceptional!!😋 I had a to go bag...And even thd bag and containers were nicely done!! “Every time I am in the area for work, I come here for a couple of rolls. Since I have been in the area a lot, I started marking which rolls I have had & liked, treating the roll like like Pokémon, 'got to eat them all'. So far the only rolls I didn't like were ones with ingredients or cooking methods that I am not a fan of. Two of the specialty rolls are usually enough food for me since when eating in you get a small bowl of soup, a small appetizer roll, and a piece of cake. I have been going here for about 4 years now and will recommend this place to anyone in the area.“

“I live nearby to this place and I’m OBSESSED with it. My bf too. We don’t go as much now that we are at school but when we are around we go minimum once a week lol. The bento boxes can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the noodles are delicious and sometimes they are a bit bland. The sushi however is always delicious and the shrimp tempura is the best Ive ever had and cannot be topped. They rarely make mistakes with the orders as well so that’s nice.“

Honestly , if you think about the archetype of a takeaway hibachi place this is what you're thinking about.
I've also never had a problem with allergies here even when I forget to mention i can't eat pork or shellfish so you know they do food safety just as a habit.“

“The food here is really good. I wish there were more options of rolls that I could order that didn't have spicy stuff all over it. But there are a few that I like. The prices are very high to the point of where I wouldn't come here regularly. Also, note that when you dine in, they add 18% gratuity to all dine in checks, regardless of party size.“
