Drive by this place on my way to work and i’m only disappointed that I didn’t stop by sooner. Delicious Food and even better service!!! The crab mac and cheese, 1/2 rack of ribs and cornbread were amazing. The bartender TG (Sorry if I spelt it wrong) took excellent care and provided amazing recommendations. Will definitely be visiting again!!!
I had the brisket sandwich, and it was amazing. The meat was tender and juicy, and the bread was perfectly toasted. The fries were crispy and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable.
Stopped in Mackies to try their BBQ for the first time as planning for a catered BBQ event. We tried the pull chicken, sliced brisket, and pull pork, as well as four sides. The pulled pork was excellent. The smoked chicken had absolutely no flavor--tasted like pulled boiled chicken. The brisket was flavorful with a small smoke ring but was tough and dry.
