Was a customer here since moving to Olney in 2010. Got a service dog and now I am not allowed to eat there per the manager. Reached out to the owners twice about them breaking the law, got no response. After almost 15 years, they lost a customer who came at least once a week for carry out or happy hour. Bye. 2nd restaurant in Olney that has to be shut down for not following the law and for discrimination against the disabled. Hope you go out of business soon.Kid-friendliness: Not at all. Was once, but now it's just a shhh show.Wheelchair accessibility: No service animals allowed or you will be kicked out in front of patrons.

Food is just "okay". But $20+ for a dish with just pasta and sauce, I can find better choice elsewhere. Service is probabaly the "wrost" that I have ever received. My server forgot about my orders and did not serve us the side salad which comes with the meal.Never will return and recommend.

My favorite thing about my experience at Mama Lucia was the bread and oil.Ordered a large pizza, half margarita and half hawaiian. The bread on the pizza was extremely thick, not enjoyable for me. Server was waiting tables at the other end of the restaurant so it was a challenge to get refills or ask for anything. This was not a great experience and food was mediocre. The reataurant was dimly lit, smelled a little funny, didn’t look too clean. I don’t think I’d give it a second chance.

It's a nice little pizza shop for friends and family. The pizza isn't 100% NYC-style, but coming up from Raleigh, NC to visit peeps, it was close enough to enjoy a near real deal experience with a thin crispy crust, excellent mix of cheese, and a tangy sauce. The gluten free pizza order by one of our party was soupy, but tasty. Both lies needed another 60 seconds in the oven. Nice staff, just busy to the point I didn't get a needed drink refill. Still, I'd go back, and recommend it for a casual night out where catching up on conversation with old friends is on the menu.

Slow service, took 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. Saw several tables get up and leave because they weren't given service. Understand you are short staffed but don't try to pack the house then. Entrees are mediocre at best.

In the past, this was the best Italian restaurant in the area. While it's still good I would say it is only okay at this point. Expect to pay $20 per meal for dinner. There is a ton of seating including outdoor seating when it is warmer.

This place has been in Olney for the 40 years we've been in the area. One of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to. Always good! Generous portions. Great sauce. Everything is good!!

We ate for a celebratory dinner tonight and it's so fantastic the Mamma Lucia brand is consistent regardless of location. I have dined at other locations and the Olney location was clean and pristine, has great decor and the staff are professional and accommodating. Mikhael and Kristel treated us professionally and were pleasant. We had a large hand tossed pizza with banana peppers, tomatoes and spinach and it was flavorful and a great portion. The Jimmy sauce and bread as an appetizer on the table is to die for and we were very happy with our experience.

Always a favorite with us. The service is always good and the food is just fantastic. One person in our group got this spinach salad and it was so good that all of us started trying to steal bits of it from her. Their pizza is truly one of the best you'll find in the DC metro area. You basically have to go to New York to get a better New York style pizza. This is always a go-to place when we just want a good slice of pizza and a very casual atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're into a good slice of New York styled pizza get yourself over to Mamma Lucia. Side note their gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza is also really good. So if you can't eat gluten this is still a great place for you to grab a slice of pizza.
