My favorite thing about my experience at Mama Lucia was the bread and oil. Ordered a large pizza, half margarita and half hawaiian. The bread on the pizza was extremely thick, not enjoyable for me. Server was waiting tables at the other end of the restaurant so it was a challenge to get refills or ask for anything. This was not a great experience and food was mediocre. It's a nice little pizza shop for friends and family. The pizza isn't 100% NYC-style, but coming up from Raleigh, NC to visit peeps, it was close enough to enjoy a near real deal experience with a thin crispy crust, excellent mix of cheese, and a tangy sauce. The gluten free pizza order by one of our party was soupy, but tasty. Both lies needed another 60 seconds in the oven. Nice staff, just busy to the point I didn't get a needed drink refill.
