The Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille

I’ve eaten at this Greene Turtle in Olney, MD multiple times, usually ordering 20 wings for friends and family.

Every single time, the wings came out with a weird texture, like they had been dropped back in the fryer after being sauced. The result was soggy, greasy wings with a funky smell, probably from old oil. On top of that, I found hair in the food every single time.

Never had these issues at other locations. The burgers were overcooked, and that same smell was there too. The place just doesn’t feel clean.

Personally, I’d avoid it.

Solid bar food. Good service

I wanted this to be good. The bar service was friendly but slow. The food was mediocre.

After being seated by the hostess we Sat for 20 mins and NO ONE came to serve us. I asked the hostess if someone could please come and nope. Of a matter of fact people behind us came after us and they were quickly served. So we left. Don’t know WHY you have management that DONT care for the PAYING customers.

This is a place where I often visit with acquaintances, and the food is nothing special, but I think it is a suitable place to talk with friends until late and have a good time. And there are no other alternatives because there is no place that is open until late at night.

Closed over 3 hours early on 4/19/25 which is a Saturday night. They close early often. Don't risk it.

Food is just ok but service needs a big improvement Jordan the worst server I ever had!👎don’t greet, talk with attitude and slow. It’s not even busy

Love the Hog Hammers and crab dip and the Happy Hour specials!

There for an HS reunion. Atmosphere great. But I only ordered a glass of beer and cup of Md Crab Soup. I've had better. But the bill was almost $30.

The food was ok but the service was pretty awful. Our server didn’t come to check on us until we completely finished our meal. The worst was when I asked the server the difference between two sauces, and she said, “they’re both medium.” My husband barely finished his chicken sandwich, saying it made him feel gross, and that there was a big piece of fat or grizzle or something in it. Not to mention it was a Saturday night and the place was dead, so I’m not sure what made the server MIA for so long. Overall we were pretty disappointed.
