Very good gyros and cheese steaks. I was spoiled from growing up in the Chicago area where there are high quality gyro places all over so I have had better, but not by much. For the price you get a lot of food and it comes hot off the grill. For the DC area Chunks is about as good as it gets and worth stopping by for some tasty sandwiches.

This was my first time ordering and I am totally disappointed. I ordered a chicken gyro, onion rings and Oreo cake. The only thing right are the onion rings. I received a lamb gyro and cheesecake. Apparently, they don’t pay attention. This was my first and last time ordering from them.

Went there ordered two boxes of 8 pieces. Both had chicken like this we asked for well done not mushy.It was disgusting!!! Needless to say my husband was going on a bus trip and threw his chicken away mad. I threw my box for me and my son away at home. First and last time ?

*****Updated Review as of Mid-April of 2021 and during The COVID-19GlobalPandemic: I ordered online via Postmates and when I went in to pickup my order, (Ms.) Shah was my Server. Shah is the same lady I spoke with via telephone and she is a very nice person with great Customer Service Skills Etiquette. Not only that, Shah obviously loves her job and this business and that type if enthusiasm to me is fairly rare (but very nice) to see these days with or without a Global Pandemic. The restaurant inside is very clean, with great social-distancing markers on the floor. I got the Steak and Cheese Sub with extra meat and the Fried Mushrooms. I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and hot my food was, and how much meat was on my sub. Everything was delicious and even though I could not eat all of my sub, but it made for a wonderful leftover the next day. I plan to come back for more here asap:)????? -My Previous Interim Review Is/Was As Follows: *****Interim Rating and Review as of April of 2021 and During The Covid-19 Global Pandemic*****: After I got a menu from them in the mail, I stopped in front of here and called here on night very close to Closing time to ask a few questions. A very nice young lady answered the telephone and she very patiently and with professionalism answered my questions. In addition, I noted that the store looked very clean outside and inside from where I could see, and the store appears to be well-lit inside with very nice decor and signage inside and on the windows. Let me be honest and say that even though I visit Rivertowne Commons a lot and I've seen this Resturant here for a very long time, I never knew they specialized in Cheesesteaks. In fact, I've been going across the street from here to get my fix of Cheesesteaks and Chicken Cheesesteaks for years, again, because I did not realize I could have been going here for that all along. Anyway, and based on my very pleasant chat with one of their employees here, I now plan to visit here asap to place an Order. I will update this Review and/or Rating (if needed and/or appropriate)asap after my 1st dining experience here.

This food was amazing!!!! They had great customer service skills. I got the philly steak 8' inch and I was so full. They packed everything so nicely. Thier fries are the bomb. I would definitely recommend this place and go back here. If they ask you who recommend you here tell them I did!
