We connected with another family for an event at the Gaylord in National Harbor and took all the kids (4) to Harbor Social to get something to eat and play some games. The kids got chicken tenders and fries which went over well for them. For the adults we shared the sliders, guacamole and chips, and some truffle fries. Since I was not that hungry I just sampled the guacamole and chips which was good. There were a number of games there including air hockey, pool, darts, cornhole, bocce ball and duckpin bowling. The bowling cost extra but the others were free (you just need to check in with the gamemaster). My oldest (11) and I played a couple rounds of darts then we joined the rest of the crew for bowling. Overall I thought it was a great family spot as there was something there for everyone (including the big screen TVs which had live sports).

Bartenders so inept. Complained to manage but had little to no resolution. Our service was terrible and good below average. So many other restaurants close by that want your business.

Food was good but absolutely obscenely understaffed. One waitress for the whole packed restaurant.

Horrible service from Dexter
As I’m typing this review I have been sitting at their bar for over an hour, and have yet to be acknowledged by anyone.

I paid $25 for 30mins at the duckpin bowling so my 3 year old son can roll the ball. I felt like management was micromanaging our game play the entire time. It was not enjoyable being watched for $25. I should have just passed on the experience entirely.
Can’t rate it less than 1 star sadly. Terrible experience aa no one came to take our order in the 20 minutes we were there. We even helped ourselves to menu cards. We eventually walked out without eating.

Horrible horrible service. We were asked to seat ourselves and then waited 20 minutes but no one brought us a menu or came to take our order.

Cool place, closes kinda early and no music so the place seems kinda dead even with lots of people, nice bar and ambiance but definitely could be more lively

Why over priced for the quality of food. The service was good! The slider I ordered was the American, it was below average. The truffle fries were good.

Harbor Social, located inside the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, is a fantastic spot for delicious, elevated casual dining. The crab cake slider is a standout, featuring fresh, tender crab and a tangy remoulade on a toasted bun. Their truffle fries are crispy and indulgent, with just the right touch of truffle oil and Parmesan. The fries with black garlic aioli offer a bold, umami-rich twist, and the wings are perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. A great choice for a laid-back meal with big flavors!

We tried to revisit after having been before but the mayhem really isn’t worth it.
They have a self seating which isn’t the issue, the issue is if it’s self seating, the seating tables need to be cleaned in between customers. We waited for nearly 20 minutes by a table for someone to buss the table. So imagine trying to hold a table and scurrying around to find someone to clean it hoping it isn’t gone when you get back. Now imagine doing that with 3 children.
We eventually found a guy in a suit that took the trash but didn’t wipe down the table. We waited maybe another 10 minutes for a server before we finally gave up and left.
Not worth it for bar food. Just have the hostess seat people so there can be an adequate inventory of who is cleaning what and where available tables are.

Bartenders at the bar were rude, disrespectful, wouldn't answer a simple question when something came out wrong, I said that's not what we asked for, and apparently that was rude. Was by no means trying to be rude, but totally ignored us and would not give us what we asked for after we paid and left a great tip they wanted nothing to do with us afterwards on December 18th. But our floor server was absolutely amazing!

We couldn' t find any wait staff that would wait on us so we walked out. Tried to contact one waitress, she pointed over to another waiter, said something and walked away. Tried to wave down two other waiters, they ignored us. Finally asked someone clearing the table next to us, he wasn't a waiter but went and found someone. The waiter he talked with still wouldn't wait on us, so he got the manager. The manager came over said she would get someone (not sure why she couldn't wait on us). We saw the manager talk to a waiter, they were in a heated discussion and then the manager walked away. The waiter then proceeded to go to another table that arrived way after us. When I called out to the waiter, he claimed he had too many tables, etc.. He came over and continued arguing about it with us, trying to make excuses why he couldn't wait on our table. At that point we eventually just walked out. Avoid this place. The self service cafe at the hotel was much more pleasant.
