I had a great time on 08/27/2023 sipping on a mock tail and listening to an amazing Saxophone player, Eddie Baccus Jr. Steve, the bar server was great! People were all having a great time! It was not crowded. I heard the Sax player from another area in MGM and the rich tones drew me to the upper level to “Lobby Bar”! So glad I stopped by! Great musician. Great sound! Great repertoire!

Bar staff was very nice, but the bar lacked the spirits to make two of the signature cocktails. Why even have them on the menu? I opted for an old fashioned that was far too sweet. Also found it weird that I was brought the check without asking if I’d like something else.The ambiance is nice as long as there’s no live music. The sax guy is talented, but it was so loud my ears were aching ?

Great Service.Relaxing atmosphere but at times can loud and wild if there is live music.I was there on a hot afternoon and was craving a Rum drink.The bartender recommended a Bahama Mama.It was the best Bahama Mama I can recall having... even compared to ones I have had in New Orleans.I really must have been craving.Thank You Phillip for a great drink.

Has live music, open Friday thru Sundays, dress code is casual, and is located on 2nd level of main atrium lobby.
ZERO STARS if that was a rating . I booked a reservation for my friends and I to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival the hostess Shelby was very snippy , she was condescending about the choice to dine inside or out. I wanted to leave from this point but my party drove over an hour so we decided to sit . The outdoor seating was absolutely beautiful, tvs couches music and an outdoor bar (that was closed ) I was excited after seeing the beautiful set up. It took us about 20 minutes for a server to come over , often times sitting outside means your forgot about . When the waiter came we ordered our drinks and entrees already anticipating a longer wait we tried to get ahead of . After an hour of waiting our waitress brought us food vouchers and told us she didn't know what's going on in the kitchen. As we were headed to the two hour mark a party next to us (larger than ours mind you ) sat down and within twenty minutes had drinks and apps , WE HAD BEEN WAITING TWO HOURS ALREADY without any food. The birthday girl was livid and asked for a manager , he came out with our food. The food was iceeee cold ! From that point the birthday girl told the manager she was leaving , he promised to comp our bills and told us to just leave it . As we walked out the waiter tracked us down and had us pay for our drinks anyway. So the vouchers we were given for the horrible service we spent at Tap anyway. Overall Tap has the potential to be great but this service was trashhhhhhh . I will not be returning !

We haven't been to TAP for a while at MGM even though we are MLife rewards players and visit a couple times a week. Yesterday we did and had a wonderful visit! The food was on point (although we miss Mambo sauce for the wings) and our server Miguel was attentive and personable. The drinks were slow in coming out as we received our appetizers before they arrived. The drinks were simple scotch on the rocks and vodka cranberry- so the 20 minute delay was a bit shocking! Still the drink delay did not dampen our enthusiasm or our visit! Overall very pleased and will return

Management is horrendous here. Having to pay $300-$500 for a table on a random weekday is insane. Especially because no one acquired a table all night and the managers had the nerve to allow their friends to leisurely occupy the tables rather than accommodate paying patrons. Only in gorgeous Prince Georges. My first time dining here since 2017 and will be my last......
We got there and were told it was closed and we had to pay $400.00 dollars each cause they were showing a boxing match! Unbelievable! We ended up leaving! This wAs supposed to be for a 40th anniversary! Truly a bad experience!

The restaurant is good. The hostess station makes a BAD impression. They were on personal cell phone instead of seating is for our reservation we were seated late after our reservation and the restaurant was not busy
