Stopped in for a nightcap and had a great chat with Super the mixologist. If you stop by you must try Super's Cosmo, it is award-winning. I had spicy version and it is quite spicy but you can absolutely get the original that is not spicy at all.
The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, overlooking the river and dock area of National Harbor. The meal was particularly well received by my nine-year grandson, who can be very particular about the food he eats. The French toast meal accompanied by fresh fruit, with the addition of a fruit smoothy was just the right combination for him. He is already looking forward to the visit next year around this time.
The food was delicious. My dad had the butternut squash ravioli and salmon. He loved the salmon but said that the ravioli was too sweet. We were celebrating my parents 65th wedding anniversary. Their desert was on the house which was nice but it would have been nice if they had done something special in the presentation. That being said we had a very nice experience with beautiful views of the harbor.
