Pienza Italian Market.

I ate at Pienza twice on two different days during a recent conference held at the Gaylord. Both times I found the staff very friendly and quick to ask if I needed anything. The first time I walked in with no reservation and was still instantly seated and served. 2nd time I used Open Table to book a reservation and was accorded the same treatment. The service was excellent and the food was good. However, I made reservations for a lunch buffet at 12:30 and was told when I arrived that due to an event, it was only a breakfast buffet and the only lunch item was roast beef, mashed potatoes and broccoli. And, I was also informed that the buffet would be closing in a 1/2 hour. I was disappointed and thought that I should have been informed in advance.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our gathering at the Pienza. The food was delicious, especially the individually made omelets. The wait staff was exceptional -- from the cocktails before our meal to the end we were never rushed and never had to wait for service. In addition, everyone was very courteous. Our friends were able to relax and enjoy this special time together.
