Beautiful, and spacious surroundings. We had a party of 10 for my Uncle's 73rd birthday @4pm on 3/22/24. We were taken care of the whole time no complaints. Pricing is fluctuated. Our party ordered cajun chicken, wings (Garlic/Thai) , shrimp & grits, ceaser/house salads, crab cake sandwich, & crab cake bites & scallops. Take note the crab cake sandwich had alot of filling. Parking is plentiful.
The mango mimosa's tasted sour. When we complained, the waiter seemed offended. We asked for a different beverage but he only offered to add more mango, which didn't help. As one who does not eat much, a buffet is too much for me. The option to order from the menu would have been appreciated.
Brunch was a success. Our group of 20 was very satisfied with the accommodations, food, drinks and service.
Excellent service for Brunch! Shout out to Norma and Jeff for being such great hostess. Alfonso and Sedge took such great care of our table! Alfonso is always on point! Best Brunch Vibe Ever!
I visited the establishment due to a recommendation from a family friend who highly praised their Sunday brunch. I am particularly fond of restaurants that offer an omelette station, waffle station, and pancake station. The omelette guy made me feel at ease during my meal. We engaged in conversation about culinary education and jalapeño peppers. His demeanor was exceptional. While the omelette was well-prepared and cooked to my liking, the overall food selection was mediocre. However, my disappointment was compounded by the fact that the food was served cold when I arrived at 12:30 PM, despite the restaurant opening at 11:00 AM. The only redeeming feature of my experience was the jazz music and the exceptional service provided by the bartender, Alex. His Bellini cocktail was particularly noteworthy. I lingered after brunch and enjoyed the remainder of my drink and order off the regular menu. Despite the pleasant ambiance and the attentive service, I do not anticipate returning for the brunch. If I were to revisit the establishment, I would likely focus on the restaurant aspect and dinner rather than the brunch. I was not happy spending over $100 on my total bill to receive hot food at 3pm
The music with the Brunch was great. Our server Tishann was awesome. Food and the service was great
The oysters are delicious...actually all the food I've ordered here is delicious. Recently had the rockefeller oysters and cheesesteak egg rolls. I usually sit at the bar and my only dislike is that add an automatic 20% tip to each bill.

I got the filet mignon and enjoyed the string beans and mashed potatoes and Cabernet mushroom steak sauce (especially this). But the filet mignon seemed like it wasn't true filet mignon, because the cut wasn't tender and it seemed to be cooked too hot because it was tougher than expected and a bit overcooked for medium rare. My husband got the jumbo crab cakes with the nicely done Brussels sprouts. We both thought it was well done. It's the filet mignon that brought down the rating from 4/5 stars to 3.

I was quite impressed by this place, even though it’s located inside of a hotel, it had a few locals that come there regularly. Very professional service and one of the best drinks I’ve had. The crabcakes were amazing.
If you are staying in the hotel, you don’t need to look any further.

I was hopeful...Brunch in the Hood. Brunch was unsatisfactory. Selection was boring. Who eats cauliflower broccoli mix and a gang of other vegetables at a brunch. Come on!! French toast and pancakes arrives to the table warm/cold. Fish/chicken whatever it was...no seasoning. Was it meat? Two people making omelets in tiny pans for a line of 50 folk. Nahhhh! Please upgrade. The band was pretty good. They saved the day. Had it not been for the band My birthday party would have been a complete disaster...thanks to the food. Oh and when you reserve an area, don't expect to get the area you reserve. If they need your spot before you get there, you will have to figure it out. I'd go back but not for the Brunch or Reservations.
What an amazing experience! Every staff member we interacted with was so professional and welcoming. Tishann (our stellar server), Maria (seated us and gave us such a warm first impression), and Carlos (manager that came to our table to check on our experience) were especially memorable. The venue was beautiful and so clean. And the Potum omelette was DELICIOUS!

Always a phenomenal time at Portum! The service is stellar and food amazing! Great weekend brunch with live Jazz. Our server, Carlos, was friendly, efficient, and an all around pleasure! The omelet chef was outstanding! All of the staff we encountered were personable and made us feel welcome. Truly a wonderful experience with a wonderful atmosphere to match! Will return again and again!
