I rolled in with car problems and had a beer while the engine cooled off. They got me a gallon of water in a plastic bottle to pour in my coolant tank without me asking and all gave me tips, a kind shoulder, and sent me on my way feeling better than when I got there, despite me having a North Jersey accent and knowing nobody. After that treatment, I'd move to this town, if I had the chance. This is definitely the place to stop for a beer.
This is an awesome bar, they have a pool table that costs .75 cents a play and to go beer. The family runs and operates the place and they are super friendly. Don’t listen to the negative reviews about this place, they are not accurate at all.If you are looking for a place to relax, play some pool and have a cold beer this is the spot. A friend and I stopped here for a drink on our way back from DC. Has your classic small-town feel, the bartender was super nice and even made sure we had directions to get back on the highway when we left. Great prices too!
