Near my house this hip hop location is typically consistent with great food with one of the half-and-half I have ever had however, sometimes the staff can be detached from their work environment. Out of all of the items I got the Wings with the crack (Lemon pepper) are probably the best the mac and cheese is also very good while the hushpuppies are decent the sweet potatoes are sort of mediocre tasting sort of sour But overall this hip-hop location is one of the better ones around...

The fried chicken and catfish nuggets were very delicious. They were served fresh, hot, and seasoned just right! However, the double chocolate cake I purchased was very very dry, after one bite of that cake I tossed it in the trash! Other than that, everything else was delicious! I’ll purchase food from here again, just not that tasteless bone-dry cake.

Think of this chain as another McDonald-type restaurant, but with far better tasting food. Yes, it's fried fish and chicken, but it's so delicious, it's worth the calories. The menu also includes French fries, greens, mac & cheese, desserts, and more. Generous proportions.
