The food tastes great, you are usually in and out very quickly, and they have fantastic memories and will greet you by name. Properly proportioned sandwiches made from great quality ingredients, good bread, and friendly folks at the window. The Gandolfini and Italian Cold Cut were both fantastic. A hint of sweetness in the horseradish sauce on the Gandolfini helped to tame the sinus-clearing spice and melded well with the robust beef piled high on a soft hoagie roll with just enough chew to keep your chompers satisfied. A healthy helping of hots on the Italian keeps this hefty helping of quality cold cuts perky, and the vinaigrette keeps it bright. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying even more sandwiches soon! It's a must-visit if you're in the neighborhood.“

“The ladies that run this Deli/Convenience store are so sweet. If you're a regular and are a little short they let you bring it back. It's really hands down one of the cleanest Delis around here. Their grill and kitchen area is sooo clean. No bugs or signs of rodents. Definitely should give em a try and help out a small business!

“Talk about a hidden gem and don't judge a book by its cover. I'm down in the area at least a few times a month for work and have driven past this place many times. I was craving fried chicken today and when I googled fried chicken in this area, this came up.

Great service, great chicken, definitely will be a repeat customer. Don't let the generic esthetics like the old looking exterior or unoriginal designed sign fool you. This place is the real deal. I can't wait to come back.“

“Went by the get a sandwich and Jay was very helpful. The environment is friendly and the pricing is very fair for how much you get. Jay did a really good job balancing fillings and sauces so my sandwich was not dry or soggy. There are a lot of drink and chip options and the vibe is chill. It does take a minute for them to make the sandwiches so plan on sticking around for a few or plan on walking the block. It’s a local business and it tastes better than subway so if you’re debating, just walk the couple blocks, you won’t be disappointed.“

“I went to Young’s Deli based on the TA reviews and because of proximity. The Korean-American proprietor is exceptionally friendly and she makes a great hot chicken sandwich. I tried the Cuban panini, which had great ham and pork, but would have been better IMO if the flavor wasn’t overwhelmed with too much yellow mustard, which also made the otherwise tasty bread soggy. “I have never been in this restaurant but just looked it up on line after ordering here like 4x thru Grub Hub. It's giving Pete's Grill type of food - vibes. It's not Pete's Grill from the looks of it BUT the food I've ordered the last 4x in 2 weeks has been hot and delicious. The Pancakes are perfection - 3 pancakes for 5 or6 bucks is very decent. The grits come buttered and seasoned, the hash browns are grilled and browned. I've ordered from Pete's Grill and Ms Shirley's. Ms Shirley's can be expensive and Pete's gets busy. Golden Star Carry out is my new favorite spot for breakfast.“
