Really solid food at super affordable prices. What more can you ask for?
One of my favorite spots to grab lunch while working in Pig Town. I’ve been to Martys 3 times now and the food is always on point! The quality is consistent, and it tastes great. A nice local deli with friendly staff that knows how to cook! The only thing i’ll say is I wish the cheesesteaks were a bit bigger.
UPDATE: July 2026, best cheesesteak in this part of town! This place is remodeled (see updated photos) with dine-in tables, and under new ownership. They have kept the price solid on their little 1/2 cheesesteak, and let me tell you, it is as good as ever, with a perfectly grilled bun, and melted provolone cheese, and onions atop finely-chopped beef.

Marty's Deli in Baltimore's Pigtown area is a fantastic hole-in-the-wall spot. They offer all-day breakfast, including a rocking bacon, egg, and cheese on buttered toast. The tuna fish sandwich is also great. With friendly service, quality ingredients, and tidy store, it's a favorite lunch spot. Open weekdays and Saturdays, this family-owned restaurant is a must-visit for delicious meals at low prices.
