“Came here at a busy lunch hour.
(The crowd was all for pickup but they do have good dine-in space too.)
Yet, the quality of the food, the taste and spice was so good.
Had the egg white noodles 🍜 with mushrooms, spiced Breadcrumbs, spicy garlic sauce and parsley. Was so flavorful. Good quantity.
Going to be back again for sure. :)

Every time I come in, she goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect and that I’m taken care of. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail really stand out. “We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here a few months ago and it was INCREDIBLE. Everybody raved about the food and drink.
The restaurant buyout minimum was very very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. The owner, Sam, would also let us do basically anything with the menu. He worked with the chef to make a custom menu for us based on our needs, dietary restrictions, and what was in season at the time. He also picked out wine for the dinner and created a custom cocktail for my wife for the event because there were no mezcal cocktails on the menu at that time.
The service was excellent, the drinks came out fast, and the food was plentiful.
We've also been here a couple times before and since, and it's been the same excellent experience.
We really could not recommend this place enough, it's easily one of the best restaurants in Baltimore!“

“I think I died and went to heaven lol. I was at a neighborhood outdoor festival and ordered from their food truck there. I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. Quality and quantity at the same time is rare! I ate the tofu nuggets with the peanut sauce and my pallet hasn’t experienced that type of satisfaction in decades lol! 🤩😋 Delicious!!!“

“I work at Johns Hopkins university and we hosted an alumnus for lunch today at Dear Charles. It was my first time. The restaurant is in the bottom of The Study hotel so it may be hard to find on any map app. Reminded me of an old tavern you’d find in historic Annapolis. Our servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. When I ordered the fish and chips our server said great choice - one of his favorites. And sure enough it was AMAZING! Best I ever had including many in the UK. Lightly fried cod that melted in my mouth. It came with chips (fries) that were ok - could have been cooked a bit more. But dang that fish was delicious. Dipping sauces included vinegar, some sort of tasty tartar sauce and ketchup. Rest of group had turkey BLT and grilled chicken salad - both looked very good. Sorry no picture but TRUST!“

Also, another review said that the pizza was lackluster. I feel the opposite. Both times, it was delicious. I got regular white pizza. It isn’t traditional though. It kind of reminds me of lasagna. But it the best say possible. Delicious. A BIG complaint is that they close too early. Excuse me? People have families. Have some empathy. Please support this small business. First off, the young gentleman at the front was the friendliest and most personable person I've ever met at any restaurant. He got us waters and menus and made small talk with us. “When I came in I was greeted by a young lady wearing glasses. When I got to the counter to place my order she smiled and asked how my day was and how could she assist me. She took my order read it back to me gave me detail of everything that came on the item I ordered . I got the grilled chicken sandwich. After I got my food she came and checked on me made sure I was okay multiple time. The place is clean and neat.“

“The food is absolutely delicious. Has always been. I ordered a lake trout dinner and it was so heavy. Everything was fresh. Fresh healthy yams, greens yum. The corn bread is delicious. I like their consistency here. It's always clean. Customer service is consistent. Staffing consistent. This place deserves an award. There's always a bar full of fresh food and they have customers wear gloves which is sanitary with a food bar. They were constantly cleaning and always does from my experiences here. I never had a meal that wasn't amazingly cooked and seasoned. This is def the place to go. Highly recommend them here. I did pay about $30 but I figure it's not different than going to a restaurant to get a real meal. Probably cheaper. Good job Kimmy's.“
