“Not sure what makes a "pub" but this is not in any sense an English style pub. It's a pretty good southern Maryland bar though. Friendly staff, lots of room inside. Pool tables. Not much seating. They do have pizza and some other items for sale as well“

“Visited St James today and was immediately impressed by the pristine cleanliness of the establishment. Opted for the chicken cheesesteak and was blown away—it might just be the best in all of southern Maryland! St James is truly a hidden gem, and I'm already looking forward to returning to explore more of their delicious menu offerings.“

“This restaurant grew out of the ashes of a restaurant that closed a little while ago. There has been a restaurant on this location for quite some time, but for a long time it was vacant. It is wonderful to have a place to eat back in Coles Point! The space is relatively small but it has lottery games, as well as Keno and a full bar. The menu certainly leans towards the local water, but also has plenty of food that those who are not into the fruit of the sea will enjoy. They have specials on the weekend that complement their menu. We had roasted oysters, as well as stuffed rockfish, and found both to be very enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable, the staff is very friendly, and has a very nice local field. Sincerely hope that people will support this business and keep it open as it is one of the very few that are open off-season in the Northern Neck of Virginia.“
