“Not sure what makes a "pub" but this is not in any sense an English style pub. It's a pretty good southern Maryland bar though. Friendly staff, lots of room inside. Pool tables. Not much seating. They do have pizza and some other items for sale as well”

“Old friend and I had breakfast this morning. Staff was super cheerful and attentive and the building, which is very old and not very big, looks better than it has in my memory. Well lit and very clean. The food was fantastic.”

“By far one of the best coffee shops to go if you have little ones. They have fresh cookies, welcoming smiles, and a room designed around small kids! They have toys and books to keep your little ones busy as you read a book and enjoy a delicious cup of their fresh coffee. The shop is located in an open area with plenty of parking place and several other shops. But with desserts and coffee like the one they have you wouldn't want to leave the shop. besides the kids will not want to leave! I know because our toddler wanted to just play and read books for ever!”

“I had never heard of this gem until our go-to place for subs was closed for the day. We looked up places and decided to try somewhere new. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! The food was phenomenal I got the Italian cold cut I know nothing fancy but the Italian dressing I got with it made the sub so good. My husband went with I think it's called the Angry Chicken, he said it was moist, a good kick to it and he now what's to see how their cheese steak is because that's one of his favorites. They also have BREAKFAST! I love breakfast and can't wait to try the scrapple egg and cheese on a bagel. Want pizza they have it and why not grab yourself a cold one in their spirits section. Sorry Showtime Deli but we found our new go-to.”

The employees are so polite and bilingual. If your looking for good mexican food or just good food in general i think you'll love this place. The restaurant is a little hidden and the windows make it appear as if its closed, but im sure its because too much sunlight was coming through.”

“I’ve been eyeing this place since we moved here last month. I stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Birria quesadilla pizza, pork tamale, chunky guacamole and a breakfast platter to split between the family.Quesadilla Pizza: Pretty soggy on the bottom, not cut very well and had an excessive amount of cheese. I couldn’t really taste the meat at all. I don’t think I’d order this again.Pork Tamale: Absolutely delicious! I topped it with some of the chunky guacamole and avocado salsa. I absolutely loved the avocado salsa!Chunky Guacamole: Prepared and served like chopped pico. It was delicious and fresh! One bowl could serve several people.Breakfast platter: Combo #7 very large platter! My husband liked it and still had a decent amount he had to bring home.I really enjoyed the complimentary salsa bar. I just wish it wasn’t so low to the ground. I’m only 5”3 and due to the protection shield I really had to bend down and get under the shield to get the items. It was a bit awkwardand uncomfortable.”

“Wow. This was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Their fries were also probably the best I ever had. My only regret was that I had but one stomach to give and that I found this place the day before I left the area...but my waistline is certainly happy for those. I also enjoyed reading the store's responses to negative reviews while we waited for the food.”

“Happened by here after work and gave it a try as I had commercials on the radio focused on the live music. Got a great local IPA from a local brewery across the Potomac and an ice cold glass just the right size. Lots of house made specials from an owner who is very hands on. We shared an order of the Chesapeake pay fries smothered in she crab soup and parm. They were absolutely delish and while a surprising combination paired well together. Even though it’s an hour from home, I’m already planning my next trip. Reduced hours off season so check before you go.”

“We stopped in this past Saturday and had a fantastic meal. Our server was very attentive and very helpful as we ordered for one of my teens who has some pretty nasty food issues. She made sure what we ordered for her was indeed GF for all parts. All the food we ordered was fantastic, 5 people with 4 different meals (2 duplicate orders). Could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend and looking forward to another visit very soon”

“Visited a friend up here & we went to this bar. It's def a hole in the wall, but a cool little joint! Bartender was super friendly & the drinks are cheap. Plenty of parking too. They have darts & pool tables if that's your jam. This is our new hang out when we come back to visit!”

“This was our 1st visit & 1st time hearing of this place; we're out of towners & were visiting our daughter (an SMCM student) who chose this restaurant. The smells emanating from their kitchen to the parking lot were so delicious & enticing, who wouldn't wait for a seat? After a short 10 min for a table & not long after being seated, the server got our drink orders. My only issue w/ the server was that she kept running off before we were finished ordering or could even ask a question, she was nowhere to be seen except on the few occasions she came to check on us, yet we repeatedly had to ask for drink refills. When you see empty glasses on the table-why not ask if they'd like a refill? I guess it frees you up to not be running for drinks & saves them $$, but when you're spending your hard earned $$ in there, you don't wanna leave thirsty. The food arrived fairly quickly & was hot. My daughter got the meatloaf & I got a cheeseburger; they had to be an entire lb. each, no exaggerating; but the other portion sizes were enough to sate the avg appetite, and no leftovers. But everyone enjoyed the food, we had cheeseburger & meatloaf to take home. The prices were pretty avg for this type of restaurant. I'd definitely go back again.?Parking: The lot is kinda small & on the weekend parking can be tricky @ dinner time. May have to wait for someone to leave or park in a different, further lot.”
