Peets at the MD reststop has been my go to for the past few months. Coffee is very good. Their muffins are delicious. Service is the only area needing great Improvement. Staff are not the friendliest and the long line always takes way to long to get through. They need to put more people on to help manage the crowds. The staff seems stressed and unable to manage the number of customers and it shows.
Today, an employee gave me the most stupid answer of my life. I’m an active duty US Army soldier. In all other places, Peet's gives a discount for my service. However, I was told I wasn’t able to get the discount today since I was not wearing my uniform, and she didn’t accept my military ID. I’m grateful for serving this country, and I felt very humiliated by your employee today. God bless America!!!!
Busy in the morning with 2 people working. Out of Frittatas.Service likes to correct you how to pronounce things or correct you on things they don't even have, but they do it with a smileWas NOT IMPRESSED BY the Coffee or food.CAN'T BELIEVE I'M SAYING THIS, Go to Wendy's instead. And I did after We spent $33 here ?♀️ Wendy's has Cold Coffee and Frosticcino chocolate or Vanilla for half the price.The dining room needs the chairs cleaned.
