Duke's Grocery is a destination for a quick bite. It is known for its "Proper Burger," which has been voted the best in the DMV. Many find it extremely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are well thought out. Others feel the burger and the fish and chips are just ok and could use better seasoning. The crispy fries, however, are consistently great with a nice crunch. For dessert, the sticky toffee bread pudding is a hit, being savory and not overly sweet.
