Went there to try the “Proper Burger” since it has been voted the best burger in the DMV for 10 years. And now I know why, it was extremely delicious. Every ingredient was well thought out and complimented the others 100%. The roll, meat, and the other ingredients were obviously fresh and of the highest quality. I had the proper burger. and my friend had the fish and chips the burger was just ok. good nothing spectacular. cook well fresh ingredients needed better seasoning. my friend felt also the fish cook well just needed some seasoning to bring it out. the fries crispy nice crunch i liked
Our server MJ was the absolute best! She was able to answer our questions about the menu and recommended their Proper Burger as it was rated the best burger the past 10years on the Washingtonian and it did not disappoint! She also recommended the sticky toffee bread pudding with ice cream and it was delicious! Bread pudding was thick but the ice cream helped with it! Would definitely come back again!
