Best banh mi I’ve had in dc? A little pricey, but the veg sandwich has tofu AND mushrooms and the bread is ON POINT.

The caramelized pork Bahn Mi sandwich was very good. The veggies were fresh and crunchy and the pork was perfectly seasoned.

I ordered the chicken pho. It was perfect. Tender chicken chunks (not dry slices). A delicious broth, even b4 adding Sriracha etc. Fresh veggies.Even very accommodating of the customer who was somehow not pleased with her dish.I will return!

Wow I was blown away by my Mushroom Tofu Bahn Mi. I ordered it because I I typically have a standard pork or chicken Bahn Mi, but I was really intrigued by the Mushroom Tofu. Also, very impressed with the carrots; thick slices and well pickled to give the carrots a nice bend.

Solid Bánh Mi. A little light on the toppings but the flavors were good. Compared to many other options in the market their prices are very

After foolishly thinking Union Market would be next to Union Station, we made the trek up to Banana Blossom. It was worth the hike.A friendly team made us some good pho and banh mi, along with amazing garden rolls. The limeade soda was fresh-squeezed, not too sweet,, and downright delicious.I'm sure their desserts are good too, but one nice thing about the market location is that you can take a break and walk around after your meal and then taste treats from other cuisines under the same roof. Make it a point to stop next time you're in this part of town.

This in union market. We went around dinner time. There was no line when we ordered but it took a little long to get our food. Ordered a a grilled pork bahn mi.The sandwich was good. It had the fresh cilantro and pickled veggies. The pork was also tasty. It was a decent sized sandwich but was a little pricey for a bahn mi.

Service was nice. Quality of food was just ok, cannot expect anything great from a small pop up type of a restaurant. Fairly expensive for the amount of food, but if you need a quick craving fix for pho this will do.

An average banh mi, in my opinion. The vegetarian option was fine, but the mushrooms were quite salty. I liked it but I know a lot of people might not.

@bananablossombistro at @unionmarketdc plain pho - Fresh rice noodles in beef broth packed with umami and pho aromatics. Garnished with fresh cilantro, scallions & white onions.Wished they had a tofu option and portion sizes were larger - but overall a classic comfort pho!
