We stop here about once a week, and love it. My husband and I are bagel snobs having grown up in NY, and this is our favorite local spot. The bagels are always phenomenal, and the crumb cake is a big guilty pleasure of mine.

Bethesda Bagels in Gaithersburg: Just as Good as the Original!

As a 35-year regular of the Bethesda location, I was thrilled to discover a Bethesda Bagels outpost in Gaithersburg! And let me tell you, it lives up to the original in every way.

The bagels are just as delicious, the online ordering is fast and efficient, and even when I missed the online cutoff during a busy holiday, the staff kept things moving smoothly for walk-in orders.

The bagels themselves were not that great. They're pretty large but barely have a flavor. The egg bagel just tasted like a regular bagel, compared to other places this is not the case. They definitely didnt add salt or even sugar to hany of the bagels. The exterior of the bagels were super hard and I was not a fan.
