Their fried chicken is so crispy, definitely worth experiencing. The pickled radish is definitely the superior side to go with the fried chicken.

It's a good place for lunch or dinner with family and friends.
You also have the benefit of being in downtown Rockville.

A cute place with diverse options of Korean food. The bibimbap was reasonable priced and had tasty components. My dining partner order one with Bulgogi had more sauce to it but the one I orded with tofu was dry and I wish that the tofu was sauced to add more dimensions to the dish. Another person at my table ordered chicken strips and seemed to get flats or a mystery cut instead. Someone at my table wanted to taste a little of the sauce options for the chicken but was not not allowed to taste a little. They did say you could do as many sauce combinations for the chicken as you wanted but would not allow any on the side or to even taste a little bit.

Chicken has gotten so much smaller that they give you. $18 for a 6 piece of tiny wings is a horrible deal. Used to get decent sized wings and two large legs, now they’re barely half the size

I really love this chicken so far. If you want to taste the Korean fried style this is the one you need to taste.

The fried chicken I had was the worst and most tasteless I've ever had. I was so nervous about having guests over that I ordered the chicken from Bonchon, the closest place, and it was the worst purchase I've ever made. I will never order from Bonchon again. It was horrible, tasteless, and a waste of chicken. I regret giving it even one star.
Staff is wonderful and food was excellent!
If you're seeking a Korean experience without the need to travel to Korea, look no further! I ordered the mixed combo with half Garlic Soy and Yangnyeom sauce, and it delivered a crunchy, umami flavor that sets it apart from other chicken places. I also tried the delectable Takoyaki balls, which were bursting with delicious, tender octopus goodness. And let's not forget the Taiwan tea. It was sweet and refreshing, it was the perfect complement to the meal. The best part? It didn’t break the bank! I highly recommend this place and give it two thumbs up. I can't wait to return very soon!
Bon Chon chicken and seasoned fries is 🔥
I love this place the food is good the chicken especially. The servers are so nice and the atmosphere is soothing. Only been twice because of distance but I loved both experiences

their bulgogi fries are so good
We had such a disappointing experience tonight, May 5th, at Bonchon’s Rockville location. We walked in at 8:40, hoping to get sat. When we walked in, the staff was already cleaning and the gentleman looked disappointed that we even bothered coming in, pulling his phone out of his pocket to check the time. He told us we couldn’t sit down and hesitated on even offering us carry-out. We were confused because there was already table sitting down when we came in? We’re aware that we’re coming in an hour before close, and we definitely understand that the staff has to break down and clean, and wouldn’t have minded if they were doing so. We already knew what we wanted because we always get the same thing every time we come in, so we absolutely would have made it a point to close out as soon as we ordered and scarfed everything down before they close. The hours listed online, both on Google and the Bonchon website list 9:30 as their closing time. If they wanted to close early, they should have put a sign on the door or modify the dine-in hours online. For him to make up your own hours when you have them listed online was so deceiving and it just came off as lazy. We usually have a great experience every time we come in, but the staff tonight made us feel so unwelcomed and put a bad taste in our mouth.
It was a perfect evening to dine al fresco in their outdoor area. This location is on a street that is shaded from direct sunlight. The Korean chicken is very crispy and tasty! Great portion sizes for main dishes. I had the Tteokbokki (sp?) which was not too spicy (for Korean food 😅). My friend had bi bim bap and she really enjoyed it. It was her first time having Korean food. Very good service as well.
Rude servers, nasty manager and food quality was horrible. We ordered to go bucket of chicken and sizes are so weird that it didn’t even look chicken to me anymore. It’s supposed to be chicken drum but these there looked awful. Manager didn’t want to deal with this mess and even admitted on the phone they had problem with their chicken delivery…
the fries and wings are sooo yum and the workers are super kind!! will definitely order from here again
