Food is really good! We had the mushroom croquettes, biscuits, bacon wrapped dates, chicken croquettes and scallops. All delicious!!! And they make their own sauces. Very fresh food and very flavorful! A hidden gem!

Definitely very nice place.
The flatbread was very good. Lamb a little spicy for me.

Botanero is always great service and a good time! The food is consistently innovative and full of flavor — not your typical small plates. You can tell the kitchen puts real thought into every dish. Favorites like the octopus and short rib tacos show just how creative their team is. Big thanks to Ken and Chef Jaime for creating a place that’s original and still feels easy to enjoy. This has become one of my regular hangs! :)

The two person tables were so small they couldn't fit our food on them. The music and the echoing design of the place really subtracted from the experience. Good food but we left as soon as we could.

Great place for a glass of wine and something small to eat. Prices are pretty good but pricy, they are worth it though. Could have more options for wine because they are a “wine bar,” but they have pretty good and reasonably priced options.

My family loves this little gem of a restaurant. When we lived in King Farm we used to be able to walk here for a meal and did so almost every week. The food is consistently high quality and tasty, we especially love the flaming shrimp, brussel sprouts and truffle mac and cheese. The service is excellent: the waiters (shout out to Tony and Jake!) could not be friendlier and have always been so kind and accommodating with our child, who is obsessed with their chicken tenders. Highly recommend.

I chose Botanero’s private dining room and catering as the venue for a rehearsal dinner for 30 people. The restaurant was organized providing tiered pricing dinner options but also flexible allowing substitutions. I also appreciated their suggestion. The service was excellent. The food was excellent. Everyone attending the dinner greatly enjoyed the experience. I had not eaten at Botanero previously and planned the dinner remote as I live out of state. However, I don’t think I could have found a better restaurant for this private event.

My first time here was with a group of 12 for a birthday dinner. Service was excellent including making sure the right people got the right food, answering our questions about the ingredients, accommodating vegan options, and providing separate checks. Pictured: shrimp flambe and a beautiful lavender drink. Every drink and dish we ordered was delicious!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away, which set the tone for the whole experience. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal and relax. Every detail, from the service to the overall vibe, was excellent. I highly recommend El Botanero and will definitely be coming back!

We ordered 5 plates between the two of us and every single dish was not good at all. I was so disappointed in my meal and I’m shocked by the good reviews!

So we ordered to go while at work...Paella Del Mar, Seared Scallops, Ceviche, Fried Mozzarella, Beet Salad w/Shrimp, Bourbon Wings, Chicken Croquettes and Basque Cheesecake.
Items that we were not enthused about:
Seared Scallops, the scallops were great but the Risotto was watery and not because of the condensation either, I know a watery risotto when I see one. Missing some salt/seasoning so it had the creamy element attempted but did not drive it home with the flavor and consistency.
Basque Cheesecake, this must be where the salt was placed that was missing from the Risotto that came with the scallops. It was very salty although they nailed the creamy/custard inside and caramelized outside it was just too savory and not at all sweet but the berry compote was OK.
Beet Salad w/Shrimp had burnt shrimp which was super weird being that shrimp should never be burnt, but they were successful in doing so.
Everything else was really good especially the Paella, could taste the saffron and everything, Chef's Kiss 🤌🏾
Being the self declared foodie that I am, I would still try this place again being that I think their menu is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I just feel like because we did pick up we got the short end of the stick and that shouldn't be the case. If a restaurant can't deliver the same quality food for pick up then they shouldn't offer it.
