Coffee Republic in King Farm and Rockville offers great coffee and food in a welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is genuinely SO GOOD, with popular choices including a caramel latte, iced latte, salty dog, and cappuccino. A London fog (hot or iced) with actual lavender syrup is also a highlight. Food items like the almond croissant, chocolate croissant, and breakfast sandwiches are insanely good. The staff are very kind, helpful, friendly, and polite. They sincerely apologized and handled a mistaken ham croissant issue respectfully, replacing it with the correct almond croissant. The vibe of the place is really cute, and it is dog friendly, with a pup cup available. While it can be a little expensive and occasionally a bit slow, the prices are worth everything they offer. Customers love the taste and recommend supporting this place over Starbucks. The atmosphere is everything expected from a cafe, making it a wonderful spot to hang out with a drink in a ceramic mug.
