They have the best ice cream flavors in DMV area. Whenever I crave for ice cream, no matter where I am I would change my direction and head to this store.

I love Carmen so much! We recently moved to Maryland and always saw a line there, so we finally tried it — and we were impressed! The flavors were really good. When my family came to visit, I told them it’s a must-try. But sadly, when we went another time (before closing ), it just tasted like sugar, and there were sugar particles in the ice. We didnt even eat it. It was very disappointing that time — maybe bad luck!

Went with a co worker to try the coffee shop that opened and it was closed. But we tried a coffee similar drink can’t recall the name, it was sooooo good. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Will definitely put my family on to try.

Employees E and Lumin were not nearly as rude enough as I anticipated. The New Jersey attitude was not embodied well here and would definitely not recommend if you like the real New Jersey attitude and a side of rudeness with your order

First, if I could give them zero stars I would. Today , at 9:20 pm, I arrived here at Carmen’s Italian ice and put in an order for a loaded funnel cake with the ice cream with caramel drizzle on top. Well, I didn’t get it the way I wanted to. Not to mentioned I have my military ID for the discount he didn’t even give it to me even with proof. Once the order came. The girl just dropped the funnel cake and ice cream and stared in my face when I said thank you. I was obviously upset. They didn’t even loaded the funnel cake, and put caramel all over the funnel cake and not the custard vanilla ice cream I asked for. Then the guy laughed and said maybe next time you come I’ll make sure we get your order right I said you know what it’s fine, have a great night. Not only did I get mocked and laughed at but as I’m understanding about good business and good customer service is ensuring your customers get what they ask and paid for not “ next time you come and I’ll be here I’ll make sure your order is right “ …. I didn’t find anything funny nor did I approve of this item being served. Not a “ I can make it over for you “ but I did heard the girl sucked her teeth and one rolled her eyes at me. But knowing me, I gave a pleasant smile and said enjoy the right of your night.i will never come back.

What I got was either not special or I just don't like ice cream. Others obviously disagree as I see this place packed with people all the time. They have a ton of options, and can have nut free ice cream and shakes (ask from the servers).
