We have been enjoying the amazing food at Hard Times Cafe for many years!! Our favorites are the chili of course & the original chicken wings. The staff is always friendly & attentive. It is a no frills sort of place,but who needs frills with food this good!! Highly recommend!
My #1 favorite family restaurant! I have been coming here since I was a kid and they used to have a location in Bethesda. This is my go to restaurant when going out with family especially if they have never been. It is an extremely unique restaurant and the cowboy/Texas/western theme is great for kids.
If you like chili this is the place to go! I personally love their Chicken Alamo and chicken wings as shown in the photos.

Visitors often find the place lively, with lines forming as soon as the restaurant opens, showing its popularity in the community.
