It was our second time here. We had dim sum both times. They have one the best dim sum food in Maryland, and it is available all day. You order off the menu instead of the push carts so you can be sure to get what you want. Service was prompt, restaurant was clean, and food quality and flavor were good. There were a couple of tables with older guests speaking Cantonese. It is how you know it is authentic. We will return and try other Cantonese and Hong Kong dishes in the menu.

The dim sum was hit or miss, due to the steam pork ribs, there are so many broken tiny bones on each piece of ribs. I think the chef needs to chop it better or cut it better not to crack the bones. Besides that the service was great and friendly.

So this place has gotten a lot of press recently for order by menu dim sum including washingtinian in yesterday. If it's near you, absolutely, But it's a hike for me for food that is basically serviceable. The best thing we had was probably the baked version of the pork bun. We pretty much didn't even eat the pork rib tips in black bean sauce... It was just a lot of work for a little piece of meat on the bone.

Great dim sum experience! Must order: baked bbq pork bun, shu mai, crispy salt and pepper seafood, snow peas with garlic, pork congee, baked pineapple bun, and egg custard.

Very reliable restaurant for small dim sum, some Hong Kong style small bites such as wonton noodles.

The dim sum chef is known for his rice crepe noodles. If you love rice crepe noodles then you will definitely enjoy these. The other dim sum items are not bad, but the pineapple bun with molten salted egg yolk is another must.

They may try to sell you the duck and while they are not bad, you can get better.

We found non dim sum menu items to have simple clean flavors and not oversaturated with msg and oil which is a plus, but the amount of meat in dishes and lack of bold flavors will disappoint.

Maybe I should have opted for dim sum rather than evening takeout? Almost everything lacked flavor. Sichuan style green beans were undercooked, still had stems on half of them, and tasted sour and grassy. Salt & pepper tofu lacked salt & pepper. Singapore noodles were just yellow, no flavor at all. Just some salt and MSG would have gone a long way.

The only items that honestly tasted alright were things that usually come from a central distributor (walnut shrimp, General Tso's chicken) and the turnip cakes.

Very disappointed with how our family was treated.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was very disappointing.

While we were finishing our meal and waiting for a to-go order, my daughter accidentally spilled her drink. I immediately cleaned it up myself. Shortly after, we were told to move outside so another group could take the table. When asking us to leave, the server brought up the spill and scolded my child in a rude tone.

As a parent, it was upsetting to see my child spoken to that way over an honest accident. Accidents happen, especially with children. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional and reflects very poor customer service. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

We wenr to Corner Bites to have a few dim sum dishes. They were all good but the shu mai and beef chow fun were the standouts. The beef chow fun is one of the best that I have eaten in the area. Given that I have eaten at no fewer than a dozen Chinese or Taiwanese restaurants in the area, I have a decent sample size on which to base my review. The dim sum dishes are not served in the traditional way so there is no cart. They are made to order. While the food is a bit pricier than the area average and there is no sign on the street to see where to turn if you are headed north, I recommend Corner Bites if you are in the area.

The dim sum was fantastic- authentic, wide selection and seasoned just right. Kevin, our server was attentive, knowledgeable and perfect in capturing our orders. The only down side was the Ladies room was very cold. Highly recommend.

While visiting my brother in North Bethesda, Maryland, he took us to Corner Bites in Rockville for some dim sum—and what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be! We walked in hungry without any expectations and left completely full, happy, and impressed.

This was truly some of the best dim sum and Asian cuisine my family and I have ever tasted. The ambiance felt homey and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a comforting meal. The staff members were friendly, efficient, and attentive, which made the experience even better.

We ordered the shrimp noodles, steamed Chinese broccoli, shrimp chow fun, and beef balls—every single dish was absolutely delicious and full of flavor.

If you’re ever in Rockville, MD, do yourself a favor and stop by Corner Bites. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

This has become our new favorite dimsum restaurant since Hollywood East closed. Selection is great and everything tastes so good. Highlights include the siu mai, shrimp and chive dumplings, lotus leaf wrapped rice, soup dumplings, and the best egg custards I've ever had. We've also ordered a number of their menu dishes, like the fried rice and salt and pepper tofu and really liked those as well.
