Very sweet, loving, down to Earth owners and staff.Loved the vibe of the Restaurant (felt like we reached an Indian shop). Fresh food, great tea. Loved the Vada Pav, A must try. The Gobhi Parantha and Aloo Tikki was okayish. There are so many sweets too, which they prepare at the place. The kachoris are good.At least one should try this place once (SPECIALLY THE INDIANS , COME ON)

This storefront sells Indian snacks, breads and sweets in their display case. They also have several tables for dine-in. They offer traditional vegetarian Indian food for dine-in or takeaway. Ordering is done at the counter. I ordered the makki roti saag. It came with 2 hot makki (flat bread made with corn) with a spiced spinach stew and pickled veggies. I never had this type of bread before, it was light, crispy and absorbed the spinach well. The spinach was well flavored without being too spicy or salty. My companion also loved this chole batura. The fried bread (batura) was as big as the plate like a balloon. It crispy and chewy. The chole was in a spicy thick gravy that was topped with chopped onions. Great place for South Indian cuisine.

Food is oily. I still wonder how the store has a license to continue given the hygiene levels.Guy is very sweet and responsive. But, food quality is not good.

Fresh and authentic North Indian food on good price. Observed that they recieve a lot of take out and catering orders. We tried Vada paav, aalu Paratha and gobhi Paratha, masala tea. All were very tasty. They also have a separate menu for take outs only which allow you to order curry and chapatis at really good price. I would say this is go to place to order Indian food from for house parties.Reemphisis on fresh, They make food on receiving order beforehand, so few sweets are not available like Jalebi.Vegetarian options: Most of North Indian vegetarian option available. Good for people looking for pure veg places.

Though the place is small, interiors lack aesthetic charm, however the food is fresh and finger licking delicious. You will not find better home like food - less oil, authentic taste of well marinated spices, aptly cooked appetizers and entrees, north Indian roti/phulka, tea and samosas.Owner is very friendly and loves to serve his guests with care and smile. Prices are very reasonable too.

It's just a bigger hole in the wall kind of Indian vegetarian restaurant with great foods but a bit shabby interior and even slower service. The food menu is comprised of typical north Indian snacks and sweets, though they have a decent thaali too. All the items are freshly made, and you may not get all the things on the menu in any day. All the fried snacks are freshly fried and taste just excellent! Above all the people running the shop are extremely cordial though their English is a bit messy! But if you don't mind that and just the food, this is the place to go. And there are ample parking places in the lot.Vegetarian options: It's all vegetarian, no meats or eggs there.Dietary restrictions: All vegetarian.Parking: Plenty of parking in the lot.Kid-friendliness: Sweets for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Somewhat wheelchair accessible.

We have done take outs a few times. Every time it felt like visiting a store in India, warm gestures of the cashier uncle, forgotten flavors, and fresh snacks made to order. They take a bit longer but it worth the wait. Highly recommend samosas, bundi, and mixveg pakoras.

Great food! I ordered a Chole Bhatura. It is very affordable, a good size meal for one and you can tell that ingredients are fresh and meal is freshly prepared. Will definitely return to try out other menu items! Don't get fooled by the exterior of the shop. It's hidden away, but worth a visit!

Really nice small shop in Rockville. Fresh and tasty indian food. The staff is so nice and homely. Authentic indian food! Very reasonable prices as well. It's not a fancy joint, but really nice food and service. Will be visiting here frequently. There is a 6% fee for credit cards, so you may want to carry cash! Completely vegetarian and plenty of parking available. It's probably my new fav spot!

Helpful owner, highly recommend for baked goods. Another customer came in while I was waiting and said other Indian restaurants and grocers sell the samosas from this spot.

Small restaurant. Just visit the restaurant for authentic north Indian food and not for its ambience.Few dishes to give a try,Aloo, Gobi parotas, kachori chat, pani poori, chola batura, samosas.Even rates are very affordable.
