We recently were at a very highly rated (and priced) place downtown and had a frankly disappointing experience. Pizzico on the other hand was at least as good as we remembered. Food quality on par with the really good DC places at fair prices. Interesting preparations, either on or off menu (specials). Il Pizzico is a true gem! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. The wait staff go above and beyond, making every visit feel special with their warm and attentive service. Behind it all is the outstanding leadership of Enzo, the owner, and Milto, the manager, whose dedication to quality and hospitality shines through in every detail. A wonderful dining experience every time!
I have been coming to this restaurant since the day it opened and it has never once disappointed me. The food is consistently exceptional with every dish full of authentic flavor and care. Enzo and his team treat every guest like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes each visit special. I cannot imagine the day Enzo decides to retire because there is no other Italian restaurant that compares to this one.
