We have a lot of good Korean restaurants in our area, but many of them are on the expensive side and require the time to invest in table service. The Holy Grail for me has been to find a place that serves excellent versions of well-known Korean dishes quickly over the counter at a low price, but on the rare occasion one pops up, it seems to quickly disappear. Today I found K Bap Express and I'm so glad I did. Delicious food, generous portions, fresh and healthy-seeming, low prices, polite service. That's certainly all I need to be happy.
It's a small, unpretentious little place at the corner of a strip mall parking lot. The menu includes bibimbap (both meat and meatless), bulgogi and kimbap (in seaweed rolls). I got a bulgogi bibimbap and it was outstanding. Serving was huge, a giant bowl of beef, sauce and fresh vegetables, but I was able to eat the whole thing because it didn't taste too heavy. They also gave me a free kimbap sample, offered me extra sauces or anything else I wanted, and repeatedly checked to make sure I was enjoying the food. I sure was!
It was a pleasure to eat such delicious food and to get such polite treatment. Will definitely try to go back there next time I'm in that area.

Our experience at K Bap was fantastic! The owner and staff were really friendly and the service was great.
We ordered pork bulgogi, bulgogi kimbap, and japchae. All of it was amazing and such incredible value. The prices were incredibly fair, we are so stoked to have this place close by!

I stopped by on my way home from work a couple nights ago. I ordered Kim Bap and I asked if they could add Bulgogi to Japchae, they did (and added a generous portion.) The owner was extremely friendly and I’m so excited they are in this space! Please check them out - I really want to see them succeed, their food and service was great!

Cute little restaurant with a simple selection of kimbap, bowls, and dumplings. We had a bulgolki bibimbap (huge bowl) and veggie dumplings. The owner and server were super sweet to my little guy, who proclaimed it the best restaurant ever. Great for a quick bite or takeout.

In an area full of sushi spots, it's nice to see that we are finally getting some Kimbap representation. Korean Korner is the only other place in the area you can get it, but this spot is my new favorite.
The kimbap was beautiful and tasted great, and the bibimbap was fantastic. The portions were amazing for the price.
The service was very efficient and the owner even came by and asked how we were doing, they even gave us a free vegetarian kimbap sample!

I tried the beef bulgogi kimbap, and it was delicious! Reminded me of study abroad at Korea University. (: There was a generous amount of beef, veggies had a good soft crunch, rice didn’t taste old. Highly recommend this new spot! Employees were kind and offered a sample of the veggie kimbap as well, which was also very good!
