Very enthusiastic and entertaining hibachi chefs!! Great experience for our children and myself! My family treated me to a dinner here for Mother's Day! We really loved our chef's jokes and humor! Kept us laughing as we ate our meal!
We literally walked out. Haven't done that in at least a decade. They were horribly understaffed in the main dining room (not hibachi). This poor waiter seemed to have the whole dining room. We're there half an hour and still hadn't had our soup or solid. This poor couple next to us we're seated when we got there and still hadn't been served. When we left and told the hostess, she couldn't have cared less. No apology or anything.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Kabuto Hibachi. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, hoping for a high-end dining experience, especially since he loves hibachi. However, the reality was far from what I expected. The restaurant was understaffed, leading to confusion with orders being mixed up at our table and others. We waited an hour before anyone attended to us, and despite requesting a birthday celebration for my boyfriend with a special dessert and candle, it was completely overlooked. I paid for food that we never received. This lack of service and attention to detail has left me feeling embarrassed and dissatisfied. I will not be returning to Kabuto Hibachi in the future for any special occasions.

Food was average. Hibachi chef was very low energy. Table next to us guy was outta control. Also we were there for my son's bday, and even though I told them, and put it in the reservation, NOBODY acknowledged it. He left very sad.

We had a wonderful and fun celebration dinner last night! Our server/chef was funny yet professional! We found all the different hibachi dishes ordered were tasty and very filling. They were very good with allergies and vegetarian preferences. Looking forward to returning for either hibachi or the sushi side! Thank you!

The hibachi tables are super close together, and the decor seems to only amplify sound. Even though the restaurant was only about 1/3 full we could barely hear each other over everything.The chef was nice, though he seemed new to the game. Our waitress was prompt when she came by, but we didn't see her often. I think she may have been tasked to two different sections.Overall experience was mid, the price seemed fair for how much food was offered.

One of the things I look for most in a restaurant is consistency; I want to know what to expect before I get there. I can tolerate consistently mediocre food, but what I have trouble with is when the food is excellent one time, and terrible another. It feels like I'm the victim of a bait and switch: I'm lured in with one good meal, then when I try to repeat the experience, I am given something far inferior. We had eaten at Kabuto's once before and it was sheer perfection, but when we tried it a second time, it was a disaster.Everything we were served was room temperature. The tempura broccoli was a head cut into huge pieces, far too large to cook or to eat, so you end up with grapefruit- sized pieces of cold, raw broccoli and not even a knife to cut it with. We ordered hibachi steak and it was served at room temperature, even the rice and noodles were cold, so we asked for a remake. When the remake also came out cold, we decided to call it quits and asked for the bill. Then the manager came out and implied we were lying. I urged her to touch the food and see how cold it was, but she would not do it, just kept asking me how I thought it could be cold. I don't know and it's not my job to figure out what is wrong with your service model, and being accused of making it up, when the manager would not even attempt to prove for herself if I was being truthful, is why I have also reduced my service review to 1 star.
