My family and I went to get ice cream, but our experience was completely ruined by a staff member's terrible customer service and attitude problem. When we arrived, there was only one family ahead of us and the place was not busy. When my husband ordered his ice cream, he did not specify whether he wanted it in a cup or cone, and the staff did not ask either. They initially put his ice cream in a cup, but when he politely requested a waffle cone instead, the staff member aggressively slammed the cone into his hand and said, “Next time, say you want a waffle cone.” This behavior was completely unacceptable and not how customers should be treated. I informed the management, but based on other reviews, it seems that nothing has been done to address the issue.

The ice cream itself was not that great. The waffle cone was stale and disconcertingly soft, not crispy as one would hope. The portion sizes are unreal. Do not get anything larger than a "kid's" because the "small" will give you a stomach ache.
The bathroom was nasty, a broken urinal, and had no toilet paper.
Staff did not wear gloves while prepping the ice cream. They did not wash their hands before handing the money afterward. I do not recall seeing them wash their hands before making the ice cream (perhaps they quickly did and I missed it?). They were polite enough, though.

Ice cream coolers were broken. Servers had to get ice cream from the back. My husband ordered butter pecan and got vanilla. I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream and got what looked like only 1. When I questioned the server, I was told the other scoop was in the bottom of the cone! I’ve never heard of such a thing. We will never go back.

We've had good experiences with ice cream ordered from the counter, so we tried an ice cream cake yesterday for a special birthday party. We ordered it online five days early for pickup on Saturday afternoon. The cashier confirmed the specific cake ordered when we went to pick it up, and spent quite a bit of time apparently packaging it, so we didn't look closely at the actual cake in the box. When it was time for the cake at the party, we realized it didn't have the peanut butter cups but thought maybe they just substituted the topping. Unfortunately after cutting in, we realized that it was the completely wrong cake/ice cream/mix-ins--creating a lot of disappointment. We've since left multiple messages on the store's voice-mail (no one answers), and no one has called back. We are beyond disappointed that we trusted them for a special occasion, and they won't even answer their phones or call us back to help make this right. I would suggest sticking to ordering cups, cones, etc. right from the counter and skipping the cakes.
I’ve been to this location on several occasions in the past and I’ve had pretty positive experiences on all of them. The most recent visit, however, I left very disappointed. I’ve ordered premade ice cream cakes from them before and they were all fine. This time, I wanted to customize my own cake for a family member’s birthday. I didn’t request a lot on the cake so I understand it coming out a bit on the plain side. Upon picking up my cake at the store the day it was ready, I was told from the employee who handed me the cake that one of the toppings I requested, had ran out. It would have been nice if they had called to inform me and asked if I wanted to substitute it with something else. I ended up going home and had to rummage through my cabinets to find things to decorate the cake myself to make it look less plain. Also, this is not big - I had made a note to add a (!) at the end of happy birthday but it was missing. I should’ve checked the cake more closely while I was at the store but I was in a rush.

If you’re at the Rockville Town Center and looking for a cheaper dessert place with quality ice cream and a ton of add ins, then look no further.This place has a delicious in-house ice cream experience with tons of add ins for cheap prices.I got a small (which was honestly pretty big compared to other smalls I have seen) signature mix for only about $5!For all the sizes you get, you get unlimited add ins or a choice of a signature with suggested toppings already mixed in. They also provide smoothies, shakes, cakes, and pints to take home as well!
