Pupuseria Mama Emilia

Called in a takeout order for 10 pupusas about 20 minutes before arriving and was told it would take 25 minutes. I got there on time, paid, and then still had to wait another 40 minutes for the food. We have been here three other times because of convenience and it’s the same pattern. Even if the pupusas may be good, but the wait time and lack of accurate timing made the experience frustrating. Not worth it.

5/5 all around. The food is great, the decor is really cute, and the environment feels comfortable and welcoming. What stands out most is the customer service. Everyone is attentive and helpful, and today Junior was especially excellent. He was everywhere, from cashiering to taking orders to checking on tables, and he handled everything with a great attitude. He knows the food, knows the process, and really adds to the experience; great person to have in a business- in their business. You can tell this is a place that values both quality food and quality service, and that’s what keeps people coming back. Definitely worth supporting.

Stopped by to get some chicken soup and it was delicious—honestly even better the next day. I’ve been here a few times for both lunch and dinner, and they’ve been consistently great every time. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and well made. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.

Awesome food. Please try the pupusa while dining in once in your life. The pupusa are som crispy yet warm and soft inside. It was so so good. Typical pupusa sides and even the other specialties did not miss. Yuca didn’t have any roots, and my fried order was perfect too.

If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and top-tier service, this restaurant is it! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. Their customer service is excellent, attentive without being overwhelming, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was beyond delicious. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and love. You can really tell they put pride into what they serve. From the appetizers to the main course (and even the drinks!), everything exceeded my expectations.

The pupusas are in my opinion, the best in the area bc they aren't greasy, are generously filled and flavorful. Even the curtido is to my liking bc of how it’s finely chopped and not overly seasoned with oregano or too vinegary. They even throw two little cups of green medium hot sauce and red hot sauce. Def going back to try other stuff.
