I recently dined at Toosoo, and regrettably, my dining experience fell short of expectations. The quality of service provided by the servers and order takers left much to be desired. It was apparent that their attention was diverted towards personal conversations and school-related discussions, to the detriment of attentive customer service. This, in turn, led to several issues, including subpar cleanliness standards, inaccurately prepared orders, a lack of proficiency in food service, and an overall unpleasant dining encounter. I sincerely hope that the management of Toosoo will take note of these concerns and endeavor to enhance the professionalism and competence of their staff.

I really wish I can give this restaurant a better rating but cleanliness is beyond important & management of this Toosso location REALLY needs to solve the issue…. I am so disappointed because the food was AMAZING! Add to it te atmosphere, open space vibe, and cultural presence - this place is just beautiful!….but dirty bathrooms are a deal breaker…Suggestions: please consider how most of the menu items (if not ALL) are meant to be eaten in traditional way - by hands - and yet the bathroom is so unkept and dirty. Perhaps put a sink or two outside in the eating area or outside of the bathroom just for washing hands….?Food is authentic, amazing, and the recipes are true to Pakistani cuisine, even regional Pakistani cuisine!Great setup for takeaways (taking leftovers home)! Cannot emphasize how awesome it is that the food is affordable and you can try different dishes with your traditional Puri/Loochi.Vegetarian options: Most items are vegetarian but not necessarily vegan due to use of dairy products (yogurt, milk) and clarified butter (Ghee)Kid-friendliness: Menu items can easily be portioned/shared for kids. Artwork and decor are engagingParking: Ample parking available; wheelchair accessible parking spots are right next to the entrance as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp available in the side entrance but bathrooms and doors are NOT automatedDietary restrictions: Can ask about adjustments for vegan options. Maintains halal - could not verify if it is Zabiha Halal

We have been coming here occasionally for the past year. The place is clean. The food is delicious but the portion size is on the smaller side. We have tried nihari, Halwa puri, dahi vada, and kulfi. It’s a self service restaurant and they take a bit longer to deliver the order. Overall it’s a good option if you’re craving for Indian/Pakistani food options.

There is no naan bread during weeks. The pakoras were so tiny that I should have taken a picture. I also ordered some battered veggies and the very young girl gave me fried potatoes instead. I asked for the manager. He wasn't there. My husband ordered some ground meat plate that it just came with a very flat flour tortilla, without any salad or naam. Just the plain meatThe only good thing was the mango lassi.

Worst trick to call this a Pakistani restaurant. Nothing Pakistani about it. Menu is limited and absolutely horrible quality of food.

We visited Maryland first time and didn't know where to find good and halal food , then we found out this place , the place so nice and food was also good , specially our own desi bun kabab Channa chaat was very tasty reminds me the street food of Pakistan.Love to visit here again and suggest to visit.??????

Authentic and spicy! Came here for my birthday, drove 25 mins to get here because I heard good reviews word of mouth. And it came through! The food tastes just like what I taste in rural India, that real authentic street food flavoring. Food was cheap, tasty and delivered fast. Would recommend it to anyone who can handle the spice!!Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options, also can order the aloo tiki burger which isn't listed on the menu

The food quality has gone down and the order takes ages to get ready, that too in installments. The Chana chaat was loaded with very sweet imli chutney, not balanced at all with spiciness.I also don't understand why they take 45 minutes to make chai. It's not the same anymore as their previous location. Severely understaffed and people working there don't take pride in the cuisine or the service.

We used to love coming here when they first opened, but we feel the quality has really dropped over the years. The Rockville location is always understaffed, the lighting is dim, and the food is hit or miss. Sometimes we go and the food is great, sometimes we go and the chicken is raw. I think this location needs a major upgrade. We feel at home here which is why we come back, but recently our experience has just not been up to par.

We came with low expectations based on the previous reviews but left pleasantly satisfied. First off this isn’t a full service restaurant. You order from the menu on the wall behind the counter, take a number and pick table of choice. They call your number when your orders ready and you go pick it up from the counter. You get your own water from the soda fountain. I’m not sure why so many reviews complain about poor service in a self serve restaurant. Perhaps it was because the food took just a tad bit long to come out for a fast casual dinner. Now about the food: My biryani was fine. Not great but not bad either. The rest of the table loved their Haleem and Nihari and gave them 4 stars. The restaurant has well thought out decorations. The chai pots below the front counter and the train mural on the wall were cute. A bit more help and TLC and this canteen would shine.

I visited this place 4 years ago and loved my experience. Today me and my friends and I went there upon my recommendation. we drove 45 minutes to get there. The place was filthy dirty with dirty floors, dirty tables, and dirty plates left on the tables. Even a big trash can, brooms, and mops were sitting in the middle of the restaurant. I was so embarrassed on my recommendation. Vary short staffed and no customer service. We asked for lemon to go with our nihari. They gave us only two lemon wedges for 4 adults. By the time our Naan were brought, our nihari was cold. I complained to the only person working in the restaurant and was told we have no staff;no appology. By far, it's the worst experience ever. Never going back there and going to report to the health department for unsanitary environmental conditions. I am beyond disgusted.

We got at the restaurant all excited to break our Roza and an hour and $128 order later we are enjoying UTZ snacks from across the street. This is shameful for someone who operates a fancy looking restaurant that is understaffed and everyone behind the counter is ignoring you. For God sake at least have some respect for Ramadan and people who are fasting and do provide a little better service compared to what you have to offer.

It’s 8:43pm while I’m writing this review and I went inside the Rockville tosso store at 8:30pm. The lady at the register told us that we can order food but their dining area closes at 8:30pm, that it’d have to be a take out. With a hungry kid who saw another kid eating food, started crying because we had to leave. I asked the lady at the register if I could get her name or speak to a manager but was told why should she have to give her name and that there’s no manager on duty who I could escalate this to. The escalation was to inform the manager that there is no mention of “dining place closes at 8:30pm.” They advertise 9pm. So this message needs to be clear and customer service is lacking at this place. I used to go to their previous location and to the new Rockville location. I won’t be giving my well earned money to a business that doesn’t respect customers. Since I didn’t have her name, I took a picture of this store to inform the business owner we won’t be returning. You lose one customer, you must have lost many for this type of behavior.

MEH! Food is greasy and just okay. People rave about the Pakistani breakfast but I found it to be excessively oily, excessively sweet, and bland all in one plate.
