The good: bright nice vibrant atmosphere, food was amazing so many to choose from so have a little of everything to try will get you more than full. Best is the soft shell crabs trust me.
The Bad: Lunch on weekend is NOT $25.99 as the sign on the door And no disclosures given that weekend meals are all consider dinner $39.99. Some seafood you wish it was warm and less salty. Service isn’t horrible but they are very short with the communication.
Parking: Might have to walk. Park infront of aldie

Food was ok just as other buffets, nothing special but the prices are ridiculous, 40 dollars per person? Not worth it, sorry won’t be back.

I want to warn all patrons of Umi that this restaurant sells your information and phone number. My family went to eat at Umi on December 1; upon walking in, I was instructed to enter my information into the kiosk to get a waiting number (mine was B18). Ever since, I have gotten spam calls multiple times a day. This restaurant and it's owners participate in this disgusting, predatory practice. I have attached screenshots from my call log as evidence.
Good foods but unfortunately
they said they don't appreciate veteran
They said would give discount for military dll but its only for active duty.

Came here for dinner on a holiday Monday night (Columbus Day) and the place was packed!! They have a kiosk machine to add your name to the waitlist—my family of 6 waited about half hour. The restaurant is beautifully decorated—outside front entrance has cherry blossom trees and inside has lots of cute umbrellas and leaves decor. However, they have extremely bright lights inside, not good for someone with light sensitivity. Also, they played extremely loud “happy birthday” music every time someone was celebrating their birthday—the song plays throughout the entire restaurant to hear and it is obnoxiously loud.
Food was pretty good here! MASSIVE variety of food options, could be a bit overwhelming, but better to have more than less! Sushi bar has a good variety of different rolls, and surprisingly none of their sushi was dry, like how some sushi can get sitting out at a buffet for a while. Lots of seafood options—I’d say the main attraction is the snow crab legs, but it’s served chilled, I prefer steamed. Tried the Tonkotsu Ramen which was good—broth was flavorful and huge portion. Although I was too full to try their hot pot, I did notice they have a good selection of meats/veggies for it—maybe I’ll get to try this another time. Lots of desserts and variety of bubble teas that are premade and left in the fridge for you to pick. Last, I was disappointed that they did not serve liquor or beer, hopefully they will in the future. Overall, there’s a lot going on here, but it’s worth trying and is probably one of the best buffets in the DMV area.

The food here is surprisingly good! I don't usually like buffets, but this one is really good. And there are so many different dishes to choose from!
