Food used to be dissent, but lately the quality has gone way down. Every time recently I have ordered chicken kabob it has tasted very plain no marination also old and stale.
The nuts (cashews, and pistachios) were soggy and caused me bad headaches for days. I tried them a 2ND TIME and it was still horrible nuts. When I emailed them, they didn't bother to respond neither time. I doubt their products passes food safety check. They're all exported from Iran that has no regulation for food safety and are know to use toxins.

I very often use Yekta for my dinner parties. The food is consistently delicious and they are very accommodating regarding how I like to serve my food. It is exactly the way I want it. I really can’t say enough nice things about Yekta. I can’t rate the atmosphere as it is carry out only. I always speak to the person in charge of catering. I tell them how I like my salad and they make it exactly as I ask for. The kabobs are always fresh and delicious. I always tell them not to give me too much rice because I always end up with too much rice left over. The guy in charge always gives me the right amount.
Thank you for the delicious food.

WARNING: this is not a sit down restaurant! It is take-out ONLY!! The google maps page is super misleading and it still looks like there is a sit down restaurant here. After driving 40 mins with family I was extremely annoyed to learn it was basically a glorified food truck.
There needs to be a clear “takeout only” on google maps and the old pictures of dining need to be removed. Kabob “counter” means nothing. What is a counter? Google labels it as a “restaurant” and there are 50 pictures of Persian food in nice plates — extremely misleading.
Persian food is terrible as takeout. Probably the worst cuisine to eat as takeout. Gets cold fast and smells terrible. There is no excuse to not bring back sit down service after Covid. This is an embarrassment to Persian culture.
The grocery store is fine, but it is separate than this “counter”. Do yourself a favor, go to Tyson’s corner or DC for way better Persian food.
Everything is delicious! My go to is the Koobideh platter. They also have a supermarket with fresh fruits and a lot of mediterranean specialty items. I pick up a few liters of Sour Cherry juice every time I go ?. You'll find breads, spreads, teas, and a lot of specialty desserts there. Definitely worth a look!

Best kabobs in town. I have been going here for over 20 years. First when it was a hole in a wall, then the restaurant and now the pick up counter. Same great food. Chicken, steak, ground beef, lamb. The shirazi salad is the best. Sometimes we just get a large size one and eat it with other food at home.

Honestly one of my favorite places to grab take out. We adore both the beef and chicken koobideh. They have great options and large portions. The market is also a great place to pick up provisions.
