The Tarro Balls we’re crispy on the outside and tasty on the inside. Duck and Basil Hot Pot was terrific and unique.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and we chose it based on the positive reviews. We went on a Sunday evening around 7 pm, and the place was packed. There was only one server managing all the tables, and it took about 30 minutes before our order was taken. The food arrived quickly, but the taste was just average. After finishing our meal, I went to pay at the front and left a little over a 10% tip, which I felt was fair given the experience. However, one of the staff asked me to pay a minimum of 15%. I was shocked, as tipping should be based on the service, quality, and taste of the food. I thought 10% was generous. Tipping culture is getting worse in America, and this needs to stop.

Fantastic vegan taiwanese. Try the crispy black mushrooms, crispy noodle, hot sour and wonton soup! Do not expect americanized chinese food. This is lighter overall, not as sweet, and more balanced.

Before I start my critique, the staff was kind. Now, to the food - this is the worst meal I have had in my fours years in the DMV. Pur dishes were stale and rancid. Items tasted like they had been pre-cooked weeks in advance and in the deep freeze only to be heated when served. Even the fortune cookie at the end was inedible. We were forced to waste three of the dishes we ordered. I am shocked that Google rates it 4.6 - the only reason I drove all the way out!
