“Barrel 9 has all the right stuff. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, the most delicious nosh, and an amazing selection of bourbons and wine. I solely came for the bourbons to sample some of the harder allocation bottles and fell in love with the food and staff. This little gem is what the SOMD area needs more of. I highly recommend 5/5 stars!!!!”

“Today, we finally tried this local breakfast spot, and it was a charming experience. While the place isn’t fancy, the homestyle breakfast was so delicious with generous portions. I want to extend a special thank you to the young blonde girl in the pink t-shirt who was assisting with tables and cleaning. She was exceptionally friendly and made a point to be so kind to our 4-year-old daughter. Although I didn’t catch her name, her warm hospitality made our visit special. “While we were waiting for our food (we did not call ahead) the family that runs the place made our whole group, especially our toddler, feel very welcome. The folks running this place are super nice, even when they're busy.
The food was delicious and the portions were large. The restaurant is set up to be mainly a take-out operation, so don't expect anything for atmosphere or aesthetics. But if you wanna grab quality Chinese food from a good family close to home then this is the right place to do it.”

“Im glad we ignored the few bad reviews (that are clearly just from miserable people) and tried this place tonight. This is a locally owned restaurant that, yes, is a location that was once a Moe's. Who cares? The food was incredible, the service was great, and the price was reasonable. The wings were enormous, the fried dumplings were the best I've ever had, and the stone rice bowl was outstanding. This has earned a spot as a place I must go to when visiting the area from now on.”
