“Very nice decor, very clean, very polite service. We ordered 2 lunch specials the twice cooked pork and Szechuan chicken and string beans. Generous portions, the pork came with a happy assortment of vegetables all cooked until just al dente (cabbage, carrot, mushroom, snow pea, and bell pepper) in a sticky spicy and savory sauce. Fried rice, an egg roll, and choice of soup were all included with the lunch special and we tried both the Wonton and Egg Drop soups. The broth is very flavorful and the wonton is made with a stiff chewy dough I really like. The egg drop soup is presumably made with the same tasty broth and thickened to an almost pudding consistency; it’s very eggy and comforting. All-in-all it was an incredible value at just under $30 for everything mentioned *and* a shrimp tempura to split, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. I’ll definitely be looking for excuses to come back!“
